Essential oils are concentrated versions of the natural oils found in plants that have been bottled up for your personal use.
Why would someone use essential oils!?
People throughout history have been utilizing the therapeutic qualities of essential oils. The oils can be applied topically to the skin, or inhaled. (Please carefully read the instructions on your essential oil bottles.) Ingesting essential oils is typically frowned upon.
By applying the oils topically, your skin is able to absorb the nutrients and healing chemicals from the plants that they are made of.
Inhaling the aroma of the oils activates a part of the brain that can help with ailments like anxiety, and migraine.
