As written two days ago. it rained four days in row in Espoo, even 40mm a day in the beginning of the last week. It raised the level of lakes and small rivers in Espoo. The worst situation was along the Espoo River. Especially in Kirkkojärvi area the river flooded to routes, streets and sport grounds.
The flooding river threatened buildings like the Chapter of Espoo Cathedral, Kuninkaantie School and swimming hall. The first four pictures are next to Chapter building, where a walking path was closed and the rest are around Kuninkaantie School.
