Here at the Restaurant EspilÀ/Espilya, located in the center of the main park of the city of Vyborg/Viipuri, it has a special feeling of grandeur. The EspilÀ, can look back on a long history and its name is deriving from esplanades, a promenade, where in former times people used to spend there free time, is an expanded pavillion, very elegant, with high ceilings, fancy silver and stylish interior. It has much of a Grand Café with its splendor. The staff is friendly and the prices still reasonable, though they are in the upper segment for Vyborg standards. The atmosphere is nice and the seating comfortable. Since this place was recommended to me by my Finnish friends, I took the EspilÀ Cake, a nut cake with lots of cream and fruits on its top.
