Thanks to @cryscendo for the tag and for past tags and to everybody else who has tagged me in the past and then I haven't made a post... I appreciate every time I get tagged, I've just been kinda drowning in work lately and haven't had time to write.
BUT I'm going to share a little bit I wrote several months ago for tbosas au which has been living rent free in my head for a while - I started outlining this back in December, and will hopefully eventually get to write it all! This is more than 6 sentences because fuck the rules <3
âAnd there he is, Blaine Anderson himself,â Santana announces to their small group. âThey canât give him the prize, right? He already has enough handed to him, being an Anderson.â
Blaine catches Sebastianâs eye for just a moment before Sebastian can turn back to the group, and he starts to walk over.
âWhich is ridiculous anyway, heâs district. He doesnât even belong here but he still has everything handed to him? It makes no sense.â
As Blaine walks up to the group, Santana plasters a sickeningly sweet smile across her face. âHi, Blaine.â
âHi Santana,â Blaine greets her quickly, then looks to Sebastian. âHey, Bastian.â
Sebastian cringes a little, hates it when Blaine calls him that, like theyâre the best of friends, hates that being associated with Blaine makes everyone else question his own place here, too; he doesnât need his status being questioned, itâs hard enough fooling them all as it is without Blaine getting in the way. But Blaine knows what Sebastianâs life is, Blaineâs whole family knows, and itâs humiliating but he canât help it, needs to stay on Blaineâs good side so that at least heâll keep it to himself.
Going to tag @daisyishedwig @esperantoauthor @blurglesmurfklaine @kurtsascot @calsvoid @fallevs and anybody else who wants to do this! (I know some of you already got tagged but I'm double tagging you because I want to and fuck the rules <3)

Isn't it Strange is like... 13 going on 30 meets it's a wonderful life? I don't know why I'm making that analogy I've never seen It's A Wonderful Life.
But essentially it's a post-season 6 break up fic where Blaine's like "damn this sucks booty. I wish I'd never even met Kurt" and then he wakes up and he's living a life in which he and Kurt have never met because it sounds awkward and painful and I'm just a slut for angst i guess
Here's a snippet!
âLet it be known that I love Rachel Barbra Berry to the ends of this earth, but if I have to wake up to the sound of her gargling salt water at five in the morning as a preventative measure against bronchitis one more time, I might actually poison our water supply with arsenic. Take us both out.â
Blaine stops in his tracks, mid-chew, and blinks at Kurt sitting opposite the table.Â
âBut enough about me and my roommateâs inconsiderate hygiene habits, how are things on the Blaine train?â Blaine fights a smile when Kurt winces a little. âIâletâs justâcan we pretend I didnât just say Blaine train?â
He waits expectantly for a moment, but Blaine just sighs. âKurt, you⌠you donât have to do this.â
Kurt furrows his eyebrows. âDonât have to do what?â
Blaine shakes his head a little, every passing second fueling his embarrassment. He knows exactly whatâs happening here, and he isnât about to let himself confuse Kurtâs inherent kindness with any genuine interest. He said he was closing this road, and he has to stick to that.
âYouâre a really sweet guy, Kurt, and I mean this in the nicest way possible, but I donât want your pity.â
âI donât pity you,â Kurt says evenly, mouth twitching. âI do find you intriguing.â
Blaine huffs out a small laugh. Kurt may find him intriguing now, but once he uncovers everything underneath, Blaine knows he wonât like what he sees. He already didnât.

This is actually the biggest project I've worked on and the one I'm working on atm. There have been several breaks to it during the summer so it's still not done :') But yeah, back in April I couldn't decide on which of Bosco's looks to draw from season 14 while I was waiting for the finale to air and this is the solution I came up with, drawing all of themđ¤Ą
There's 33+3 looks on my list :D That's why I have 6 filesđ Because I use up to 50 layers while working on one look(SAI's limit is 250ish) so one while can fit only about 5 looks.
I have only 5+3 looks left to do so maybe I'll finish this someday. I have been very impatient when I've worked on this, I constantly want to share the finished ones with everyone I know. I have also used my fav Bosco look as my side blogs pfp for a few months already.
I am very proud of several of them. The amount of work and detail some of them required was too much but definitely worth it.

Burt
As he glanced at the calendar, Burt Hummel contemplatedânot for the first timeâhow little he had in common with his only child. Burt had been wearing jeans, a flannel shirt, and a baseball cap since his twenty-first birthday; Kurt, meanwhile, dressed like someone had run his wardrobe through a blender. Burt enjoyed a cold beer and a close game; Kurt, on the other hand, enjoyed unpronounceable foods and obscure French films. Some days Burt Hummel felt like he was raising a completely different species instead of someone who supposedly shared half of his genes.
He glanced at the date he had circled on the calendar and sighed.
It was always a good week when Sean, one of his best customers, was able to hook him up with Buckeyes tickets. Sean had season tickets, but there were always a few games he wasnât able to make and Burt was very grateful to be on the list of people he offered them to when that happened.
He had two tickets for this weekend and he wondered if he should even bother inviting Kurt to go this year.
After all, Kurt was only going to complain the whole time about the outfits or how unhealthy the food at the stadium is. And thatâs if he even came at all. Burt had been turned down the last few times heâd asked.
Burt couldnât help but notice that the teenage moodiness he had been warned about had really taken root in the past year or so. Kurtâd been withdrawn and quiet ever since his mother passed, but lately there had been an edge to the quiet that Burt found unsettling. He tried to remind himself that this was supposedly normal for teenagers while simultaneously wishing that Lizzie was here, so he had someone else to figure all of this out with.
He decided not to bother asking Kurt about the game; he couldnât see an outcome that he would actually enjoy. The kid was getting older; he didnât want to hang out with his old man any more and Burt just needed to start accepting that.
â
âIâm going to a game with Mitchell on Saturday,â he mentioned casually over Friday night dinner. Cooking was yet another of Kurtâs interests that Burt couldnât relate to, but he certainly appreciated the results. âChicken came out good today, kid,â he added.
Kurtâs pale face was unreadable. âThanks,â was all he said, not even acknowledging the part about the football game.
âGot any plans?â Burt asked warily. The answer was almost always âno,â or at least not anything that Burt would actually consider plans, but he hadnât given up yet on asking. He had responsibilities as a parent, after all.
âThereâs an Audrey Hepburn marathon on the Turner Classic Movies channel this evening which I simply cannot miss. I was planning on visiting the fabric store on Saturdayâtheyâre having a 30% off sale and Iâm completely bored with all my patterns.â
Burt sighed. So thatâs a âno,â then. At least Kurt was planning to leave the house; that was something. He just wished his son had a friend to spend time with on the weekends.
âKurt?â
âYes, Dad?â
How do you ask your fifteen-year-old son if he has any friends? Burt couldnât come up with anything that didnât sound horribly insulting.
âAre the kids at school treating you alright?â
Kurt whipped his head around sharply, making eye contact with Burt. He arched one of his perfectly groomed eyebrows at his father.
âSure, they treat me fine. Why do you ask?â Kurtâs words tumbled out just a little too fast to sound casual.
He sighed. âI just⌠you can tell me if they arenât, okay? I know itâs been a while but I do remember what high schoolâs like. You just⌠you never talk about anyone from school anymore.â
Kurt held his head up high. âYou shouldnât be worrying about me, Dad. You know me⌠I just have high standards and everyone in that school is a tragic bore. I promise if I ever find anyone interesting in that hellhole, Iâll be sure to invite them âround.â
âFine, then. You do that.â
Well, that was a bust. Burt was pretty sure his son wasnât telling him the whole truth, but there was only so far he could push before Kurt would shut down on him completely. Heâll tell me when heâs ready.
âDo you have much homework this weekend?â he asked, changing the subject.
âOh, weâre reading something useless in English Lit right now. Iâll just read the cliff notes and still be more informed than half the neanderthals in that class.â
Kurt had a strong work ethic, but unfortunately it only applied to a very select set of activities. Academics had never been Burtâs forte either, but letting the comment lie seemed downright neglectful. âKurt,â he scolded. âYou should read the actual book.â
Kurt rolled his eyes. There was that teenage moodiness again.
âOh, come on. What are you reading? I doubt theyâve updated the curriculum much since my day, we may even have it somewhere around here.â
âCatcher in the Rye.â Kurt sounded bored.
âHey! That oneâs pretty short. Why donât you at least give it a try, huh? Donât you want to go to college someday? I think you have to read books in college.â Burt intended his comment to be teasing but Kurt frowned deeply at him in response.
âIâm not going to college,â Kurt said darkly.
Burt stiffened. Like hell youâre not.
âWait, what? Since when? What happened to all that talk in 7th grade about getting the hell out of Ohio? I think that would be really good for you. You know, stretch your wings, find people who have more in common with you.â
âYeah, well, plans change,â he spat out angrily.
What is going on with him? Burt studied his son in surprised silence. Kurtâs anger confused him but he could sense he was teetering right on the edge of losing Kurt for the evening so he didnât press.
âFair enough,â he capitulated. âMaybe try to keep your options open, yeah? Youâre only a sophomore. Lots of time to think about the future.â
Kurt snorted but said nothing else. He finished the last few bites of his dinner in silence then immediately asked to be excused to do the washing up.
Burt wished that he knew what he was supposed to say, but no matter what he tried, it never seemed to be the right thing.
do you know any fics where it focuses on kurt realizing blaine doesnât have a perfect life like he thought he had, and blaine letting his walls down? preferably in the canon universe, but it can be AU too

When he was 4, he didnât notice it. When he was 6, he hoped he could outgrow it. When he was 14 he thought he could ignore it. When he was 16, he tried hide it.
When Blaine is attacked for being different, he transfers to a new school where he meets a cadre of misfits called The New Directions, who seem very impressed with his singing and very curious about his past. Blaine just wanted to fit in but maybe he will find something better: his voice.
[A canon-divergent story in which Blaine transferred to McKinley rather than Dalton after being attacked at his old school.]

The Symphony Verse by shandyall
Blaine has spent most of his life feeling like the only thing people notice about him is that he stutters. Heâs working hard to overcome his (mostly self created) roadblocks when he meets Kurt in an online class the summer after his freshman year of college.
âLights out in five minutes,â Kurt announces firmly. Director Sue is incredibly strict about lights out and Kurt wants to avoid the lecture heâs sure to earn if his boys are even a minute late.
Groans of complaint fill the cabin but the boys are resigned to their fate and dutifully begin to hurry through the final stages of their bedtime routines, scurrying to the bathroom and tugging on sweatshirts before climbing into their bunk beds.
Kurt turns to his co-counselor, Finn. âItâs been two weeks. Shouldnât they be any better at this?â
Finn just shrugs at him.
âKurt?â says one of the boys tentatively. He bites his lip, looking younger all of a sudden. Kurt and Finn were assigned to the thirteen-year-olds and Kurt is constantly surprised by the way their behavior swings between maturity and childhood like a pendulum.
âThere isnât really a monster in the woods, right?â the boy, Shane, whispers.
Of course, Director Sue thinks having a scary story campfire cookout at the end of the summer is just a big pile of fun but who has to clean up the mess when they wet the bed in fright that night? I do.
âOf course not,â Kurt says, trying to sound reassuring. But Shane just bites his lip harder, looking unconvinced. Kurt beckons him to a corner where they will have a little bit more privacy. âDo you think I would work here if there was a monster in the woods?â
Shane considers Kurtâs argument, then his worried frown turns into a crooked grin. âWell, you did scream pretty loud when we found the snake under the cabin last week.â Now Shane is giggling. Better the camper laughing at Kurtâs expense than too afraid to sleep all night. âBlaine did have to come over from Talking Timber cabin to make it go away. Okay, yeah, you definitely wouldnât work here if there was a monster.â
âSee? I promise. Nothing scary in the woods.â Shane thanks him and climbs up to his bunk, thankfully ready for bed. Kurt lets out a sigh of relief. Crisis averted.
The radio at his waist crackles. Then Director Sueâs muffled voice comes through. âLights out. Roll Call.âÂ
Kurt hops to attention and pokes his head into the bathroom, checking to make sure no stray campers are still brushing their teeth. It is thankfully empty. He surveys the bunk room and is pleased to see that Finn is hustling the stragglers into their beds.
The co-counselors exchange silent nods and then Finn announces loudly, âLights out!â
Finn flips the light switch and the room goes pitch black. In ten minutes or so, the starlight will be enough to keep them from tripping over any duffel bags but for now Kurt has to blindly pick his way across the room to the front door. Kurt and Finn step out onto the narrow porch, where the sound of the radio is less likely to keep the campers awake. Roll call will be starting any second now.
âBig Pine?â Sueâs voice crackles.
âIn for the night,â Rachel and Mercedes answer.
âTalking Timbers?â
âTucked in tight,â Blaine and Sam reply.
âFirefly?â
Kurt holds down the button and together with Finn he says, âSleeping soundly.â
Sue continues through the roll call until each of the cabins has checked in. Two of the cabins admit that they are running late with profuse apologies. Sue seems to have eyes everywhere; somehow she always knows if someone is lying about lights out. Kurt has no idea how she does it.
Crickets chirp in the distance. Finn heads inside, leaving Kurt to have a moment of solitude.Â
Kurtâs eyes are starting to adjust to the darkness and he steps off of the porch, throwing his head back to take in the stars. The sky is outrageously beautiful here. Itâs his favorite thing about working here and why heâs come back for the past two summers. The pay is decent enough for a college summer job but he could find that in lots of places. Kurt comes back to New Directions Wilderness Camp for the stars, thousands of them blinking back at him from unfathomably far away. You donât get that in New York City. Well, that and the fact that last summer he fell hopelessly in love with Blaine Anderson but is too chickenshitâthose were Rachelâs exact wordsâto do anything about it.
Thereâs supposed to be a meteor shower tomorrow night. Kurt has this vague idea that maybe he can get Blaine to sneak out and meet him so they can watch it together. He thinks he might be brave enough under the spell of the stars.
He lets out a sigh of longing and turns to head back into the cabin.
AIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHH
A loud, horrible screech comes from behind him.
Kurt whips around, his heart racing, but all he sees are the woods. He knows the sounds of the night by now and that wasnât anything heâs ever heard before. Not the chirping of the crickets, nor the droning of the cicadas, nor the hooting of the owls. It sounded like nothing heâs ever heard before.
He snatches the radio from his belt and realizes that his hands are shaking. âDid you hear that? Did anyone hear that?â
