okay so i work at a big bookstore and they sell toys and games and things in addition to books, including lots of funko pop figures

now, i think funko pop figures are pretty ugly and i have never bought one because i wouldn’t really want to look at it even if it was a character i liked, AND YET

there’s a shelf on one of the displays that has all the members of the ghost crew sans zeb and chopper, and they’ve been sitting there all in a row for weeks, and even though i know i would regret it and would only stare at them wishing they were cute dolls that looked like the cartoons instead of identically, grotesquely stylized bobble heads, every time i walk past that goddamn display i have to forcibly suppress the urge to buy them all

#i'm.....maybe a little starved for rebels merch #especially hera #i don't think there's another way to get figures of the entire ghost crew in the same style #like my store doesn't have zeb and chopper rn but they definitely exist and would be easy to get #but despite the fact that i often find alien characters much more palatable in funko form than humans (ahsoka and hera's are almost cute)#zeb's is fucking terrifying! he has these giant green pupil-less bug eyes that look nothing like his actual eyes #why did they decide to do that? it's not like they bothered to give kanan or hera or ezra anything other than the generic black blob eyes #sheds a single tear when i think about how hera's disney infinity figure never got released #fandom musings
