you know sometimes i wanna rant in a form of a poem
sometimes i like to pretend that someone would like to listen to me and they will find me inspiring. anyway, here it goes.
[sigh]
-
i look in the mirror as if it will make me understand more, but it doesn’t.
i look in my thoughts- to see if there’s a step by step guide on how to write my own script.
it must be there, somewhere, right? with clear ‘answers from within’ that are so often talked about
but what they don’t tell is that answers are coded,
and in order to learn them you must first break the walls.
break the walls of the tears you’re crying in silence, afraid that somebody will walk in through the door
the walls intertwined with self doubt like an ivy, and those made from bricks of the toxic self talk
they all must be gone and torn down.
so that we can live without conflict,
and focus on things that are truly important.
ones we have been putting off and rethinking. it’s time to just do it already, you know.
and it’s not that we can’t, it’s just that-
that we won’t.
not unless time is found and excuses are dropped.
