okay i’ve just finished reading awtwb, here’s my mini review:
if you didn’t like wayward son (i generally wasn’t a fan), it doesn’t matter. awtwb broke me down and put me back together again. i have no words.
i expected almost nothing from this book — mostly that it would just be a fine book, a pass for a conclusion. i expected it to take me a month to get through. i read it mostly because of my love for the characters and my love for the first book. i didn’t expect to love awtwb so entirely, or to read it so quickly, mostly in one sitting. every chapter was great and made me feel something different. every pov was interesting.
it’s everything i wanted from a carry on sequel in the first place. please read it if you loved carry on but were on the fence about awtwb after wayward son
