I think when it comes to making esk based off myths and legends I would rather make an esk who has a similar life/parallel experiences to a mythological figure and names themself after it, or it was an object related to a myth but like there’s no proof those events still actually happened. Instead of making it so the esk definitely was tha mythological figure
I think my Tristan/Iseult esk will be an abnormal. My head in the clouds book abnormal Tales sees a briar growing out of a tomb in a chantry and she’s like omg these are Tristan and Iseult’s tombs and transforms it. It probably wasn’t, but those beliefs behind the transformation shape how the esk turns out
And if I make two headed Tristan iseult esk it will be a separate entity from my humanoid characters of them. Lol I’m insane
