“Yeah, well, it’s everthing but easy to adjust to this world. But I’ll manage.” he spoke, trying to avoid the others eyes for a brief moment. “I’ll manage.”

               “Oh, normally I wouldn’t be,” the God of Mischief reassured them upon having had the fact that he was being uncharacteristically silent brought up to him. “You see, you happen to have caught me at the exact point of intersection between my having more important things to think about and my utter lack of interest in this subject altogether.” | @escapesnight​

“Bojack!” The excitement that seemed to course through the other man only seemed to brighten at the sight of the other. It was similar to the excitement of a puppy when they noticed their favorite person — A comparison that was far closer to the actual situation than he would admit. “What’re you doing here?” He said with a chuckle, “I thought you hated parties for made up Hallmark holidays.”

           “you’re pronouncing it wrong, but that’s okay. just try again.” brando pulled a goofy grin before repeating the phrase. “mi sto divertendo molto-- I’m having a great time!” he glanced at the other in anticipation. he wasn’t sure how he’d ended up as the official italian teacher for his friend group, but he didn’t mind it one bit. it wasn’t often that he got to use his native language outside of his home, so he’d jump at any chance. “you’ve got it, come on! ‘dee-ver-ten-do’.” he made sure to never take his eyes off the person he was speaking to, but also to keep his expression gentle. no one ever learned anything through being judged, and that wasn’t the method he wanted to use.

Max never quite knows where Luna stands but he likes her. She’s someone he feels like he could have a lot more in common with if only he’d spend more time hanging out with her. He thinks she has some good points but he also wonders what her end goal is sometimes though part of that might be because of everything that’s happened with Monet. But all in all he really just wants to get to know her better since it feels like they hardly interact.

finally, finally the boy looks up - long dark hair falling into his face. ‘I don’t think love is something you can plan. you just do it.’
