Yeah I have! It's was a weird experience somehow coming across absolutely zero spoilers between the theatre release and the youtube release... I'm too used to ML spoilers going live within minutes of an episode airing lol But then I mostly sit on the fringe on tadc fandom so I only get the occasional stuff on my feed

I'd heard there was a lot of mixed reactions to the finale and having watched it I can understand why. Personally I enjoyed it and yes I did cry when we found out about Jax's history and what went down with Ribbit. Personally I like it when characters can be assholes. It hurts to watch them lash out like that but unfortunately that is a legitimate response some people take. Does it excuse Jax's actions? No, but you can see the clear progression that led them there.

For the chapter titles in Citrus and Lavender - you're right! They all come from song lyrics (either direct quotes or paraphrasing lyrics).

I listen to a lot of music when planning out my fics as well as writing them. Sometimes a particular song or specific line just sticks with me.

So I have a lot of thoughts and ideas orbiting the Paris Special. I've written a oneshot already, but there's still plenty more I want to write.

Porceline Girl is another oneshot taking place after the special ends - because there is just so much potential with Toxinelle and Griffe Noir trying to restart their life after everything they've been through! Just because they've decided to try and live better doesn't mean that the past is forgotten. These kids have been through hell and they could easily backslide since the odds are already stacked against them. It's just something I am rabidly chewing on.

Here's a snippet from Porceline Girl:

The want to try wasn't enough to make any immediate difference though. Marinette knew that as soon as she returned home - locking herself away in her room as she always did - and detransformed. The rush of maybe, just maybe, she could be something more, something brighter, faded along with her spots. Perhaps Toxinelle could change - but what about Marinette? The rejected girl living a rejected life? She found herself reminded once again of her place in the world - or lack of - as she stood in front of her school locker. She'd considered skipping class that day. It certainly wouldn't be the first time. But if she was trying to do better, then fixing her school attendance was probably an achievable place to start. Still, as she found herself staring at the slightly dented surface of her locker, it took everything in her to not just leave.
