I have just finished renovating the Sandtrap Flat lot and it is now called '893 Sandtrap Flat'. Once again, the layout of the house is the same as EA has made it because this is another renovation/remodel.
It is a residential, 30x20 lot, worth Β§64,323. Only has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. I've added the 'Natural Light', 'Homey' and 'Convivial' trait to the lot as well.
I don't know why exactly but the original look of this build just pulled me to retro/vintage/70s/60s style and I hope I came close to it. It was a bit difficult to envision because I am not particularly drawn to this ear of home design but I feel like it turned really nice. Especially the garden!
OH! AND THE TRUCK!?!?! Absolutely amazing!! Hats off to the creator who decided to convert TS3 stuff to TS4! This truck is just prefect for my Sim living here!
The front porch.
The entryway, with doors leading to the bedroom and the bathroom.
The living and dining area with a little work space.
The kitchen.
I also love this barrier/wall I put to separate the kitchen a little bit. It reminds me of my grandma's sisters' kitchen. :)
The bathroom.
Can't explain why I love this little bathroom so much but it's sooooo adorable!
And the bedroom.
That completes the house tour ;)...
Now onto the garden!
The little seating area with a bar and a pool.
Aaaaaand....
The cutest artist studio I've ever seen for your Sim to learn to paint, sing and strum.
Absolutely not my style house but it turned out great, I love everything in it and I'm so happy I found the glass block windows because what screams 70s more than that.

Okay, let's start with the last piece of the house.
A little patio area with a lovely fountain in the middle and small seating area. Perfect for a morning coffee. It's accessible through the big glass doors in the dining room and through the big glass doors in the hallway.
FINALLY! We have reached the backyard! Which is giant and posed problems because I couldn't for the life of me figure out what all to put in it where it looks good but it's not just a seating area and a giant blank space.
SO! I have made a big living and kitchen outdoor area covered with a beautiful glass roof for protection. This is the outdoor seating area with a little chess table for my sims.
And this is my outdoor kitchen and dining area, which has turned gorgeous.
And because my Sim has children. . . and money as he was famous. . .
His very own playground for his kids. Actually he has 2 playgrounds so to speak. One by the kitchen area, . . .
. . and one by the living area. This is also where the gate entrance is located.
This gate/door however is the entrance to the gardening area.
My sim wants to become a proficient gardener, so he can grow his own vegetables for his children. And I figured better to have a dedicated space for all his vegetables. . . and maybe some flowers. The gate is there to make some separation between the more public area of the backyard so nobody comes and just messes with his plants. But it's also there so no little hands get to grabbing stuff they shouldn't while nobody's looking.
And lastly, the pool area. Because what kind of celebrity house is this if there is no giant pool?
Also gated so the littlest ones don't get into trouble unsupervised.
And that is it, finally finished! I didn't think it would take me this long to post one house or that it would require 2 separate posts, haha. Makes me nervous for when I finish my current WIP. Now that one is alot!
Here are some top shots, with and without the roof on!
