Season one

Raven is light hearted. He enjoys his job of training young warriors.

Retroactively, with what happened in later seasons, this would be set when Nevar was still just a regular human who was a bit of a nuisance. Raven didn’t see him as a real threat. It was all fun and games. He and his friend Princess Erina stopped Nevar at every turn.

Season two to four

Nevar has stolen the Enchanted Oak, made his own Staff of Power, become corrupted by using it for evil and has started to take over Alaunus.

It’s no longer a game. Raven never loses his sense of humour but has become much more serious otherwise. He’s still training and testing the warriors to find the best of the best but now he has to fight to keep them safe from Nevar and the demons.

Raven: The Island

Nevar has completely taken over Alaunus. Raven can’t even land on his home without Nevar killing him. Raven is not happy. He’s angry, frustrated and homesick.

Princess Erina is still on Alaunus and he can’t help her in person. He has to trust that the warriors he sends will be able to do their job and hopefully not die. He hates sending them into danger and being unable to help them in any way.

Seasons five and six

Raven is back home and happy about it. After the events of Raven: The Island, he can fight back against Nevar and has starting to take back ground.

Raven: The Secret Temple

He’s a stressed bird. Alaunus is dying and he personally can’t break the spell. On top of everything else, Nevar has followed him to the East and is trying to kill him and the warriors again.

Raven be like, “Satyarani, my homeland is literally dying right now. You won’t let me try to get the Waters of Life because of the ‘only mortals can try’ rule but the warriors I brought are worthy. No one is going to use the Waters for evil. I don’t care what you say, some of your challenges are unfair. Can we please move this along so we can get the Waters and save everyone/thing on Alaunus from freezing to death!?”

Seasons seven and eight

Alaunus has been unfrozen, Raven is back to mostly winning against Nevar and is training warriors rather than having others test them. His life is still stressful but it’s just background noise by this point.

Raven: The Dragon’s Eye

“This is good! The warriors and I are actually here to help someone else for a change, rather than trying to save my home. I’m also making friends!”

“FUCK! Nevar is here and Ervan is not my friend.”

Seasons nine and ten

Back to regular training and life on Alaunus. Nevar is still around but Raven is coping okay (he's not, please give this man a hug and some therapy).

Reboot seasons

Honestly, this is the most relaxed Raven has been since season one. Yes, he’s stuck in a desolate realm, can’t get home and no longer has his Staff of Power but there’s a new Raven and he trusts her to do a good job.
