1. put curaga in your ‘quick cast’ menu 2. equip ars arcanum 3. take a bunch of elixirs with you 4. have all your mp/critical/combo abilities equipped 5. and ‘second chance’ (this one is also important)

chase him down, hitting him normally and taking all the damage he flings at you, healing with quick cast when your health gets low, spamming arcanum when you get close enough

when he does the red swirly light thing, use an elixir about halfway through the swirlies. it’ll hit right between you going down to 1hp and sephy finishing you off.

okay honestly!!! i prefer to review on ffn (i don't really know why!?) which is why i went back to reviewing reading sovereign on ffn, and it also makes me kinda sad that you can't kudos each chapter on ao3; but where would you say most of the Best FMA fic would be?? ffn or ao3?

personally, almost all of my favorites are on ffn but that’s probably more because they’re just older so they were around before ao3 was even a thing. nowadays my fave fics actually come from tumblr lol but the beauty of it is that most people post on both sites so you can choose which one to read it on. 

as a side note, i like to make it a point of asking the author individually (at least if they have at tumblr) which site they prefer their feedback on. i personally prefer ffn but i have mutuals that prefer ao3. in the end it’s up to them. i suppose you could leave feedback on both sites, but that kind of deters readers from reviewing or commenting or whatever because it’s an extra hassle. don’t be afraid to reach out!
