I am all but nervous...
Errin thought to herself as she was getting her hair done. The whole day was set aside to tend to her wedding preparations for the big moment. This was going to be a huge step in her life. Reality TV was the last thing she thought would ever become a platform for love. The Dame was always on the outside looking in. It was now her own reality and to be honest, she was more than prepared for it. Errin felt many feelings, but being nervous wasn’t one of them. Her whole ordeal was the simple fact that only one parent would witness her walk down the aisle. The absence of her mother would surely be felt. Errin often thought about this very moment and how it would affect her.
“Errin? What do you think?”
The question arose, and it sent the future bride out of her thoughts and back down to earth. She took a look at her hair and smiled, “I’m sorry Tabitha, it really looks good.”
“You’re nervous?” Her hairstylist started spraying spritz to place Errin’s hair.
“No, not really, just thinking about mama, that’s all. I’m sure she would have been raving about everything. Especially being on TV.” Errin replied, still staring at her hairstyle, loving it.
“This really looks good Tab, thank you.”
“No problem girl, you know I had to make sure you were looking good for your day. Hey listen, your mom would be proud and though she isn’t here in the physical, she’s right here spiritually for sure.”
The encouraging words from Tabitha, (who was her good friend as well), soothed her.
“I appreciate that....alright, the dress, where is it, because I’ve been dying to actually see the final product.”
Errin got up from the chair as she anticipated her dress. Now Errin D’Veaux was not your average chick, she was a woman of vitality and strength, smart too, but the woman had class. She didn’t want the “traditional” type of dress because she wasn’t a “traditional” female, hence being on this show anyway.
Her dress had to speak for her. When she was to walk down the aisle, she wanted her future husband to react in all the right ways.
“Oh wow...” she took the dress from her assistant and placed it along her body frame. She looked in the mirror and instantly knew, this day was meant to be.
