Willow was sitting by herself at the bar, nursing a drink. She twirled a blonde curl around her finger as she watched others mingling about the beach. The girl was always observing her surroundings closely, keeping high alert at all times. Being new at Eros she wanted to start off on a high note, hopefully to gain the trust of others. Willow saw someone approach her, a warm smile appearing on her face. “Well hello there, how is your night going?” she took a sip of her drink as she winked at the other. “What brings you here to mingle with me?”

kelsey downed the rest of her drink before turning to get a new one, looking around and smiling at all of the people around her. she could end up liking this. she started to drink her new drink, moving towards the bonfire and glancing at the person next to her before looking back in front of her and at them again. “want a sip of my drink? it’s a mai tai. super yummy.”

Celeste had been on Eros for all of two weeks and although she'd been lead to the beach a few times it wasn't hardly as many times as she would have liked.  She'd went from practically living on the beach back home to getting to only stare at it through the windows of the Hub, so of course when given the opportunity tonight she took like a fish to the water enjoying the feeling of the warm water against her skin.  She knew she had to be social at some point, but for now she was far too content being in the water - not too far from the shore, but enough to get the feeling of being back home.  "You could join me you know," she called out to the shadow she'd seen standing by the waters edge, unsure if they'd even noticed her or not.

Parties were NEVER Austin's cup of tea, and yet whenever Eros hosted one he was there at least trying to take it all in.  Some of his fondest memories on the island had centered around parties, though for as much happiness he'd had heartache came in a close second.  He'd left for a while, mostly to clear his mind and sort his own shit out, and as though fate was slapping him right upside the head almost as soon as he returned there'd been a party starting.  Here he sat at the bar, scotch in hand, staring out at the masses who had no problem mingling with one another.  "They make it look so easy," a musing that he said to nobody in particular, though there were several sitting near him that could have overheard.

She wasn’t much of a drinker, even in school she didn’t go searching for alcohol. One time during her freshman year she did go to a Delta Sigma Iota party and ended up with a wild hangover the next morning, but since had found herself fairly controlled. This little mixer however, why not? She had no plans to get drunk, but with some of the experiences she had, a glass of wine couldn’t hurt. That’s what she said about 4 glasses ago. 

Will always liked those monthly events. Being able to interact with others on a more neutral ground made it all the more refreshing if he was being honest. Of course, he cherished his position as a master on the Island and would hate to lose his privileges, but every once in a while he liked to interact with people who didn’t try so hard to get his attention only to have him buy them alcohol. And alcohol was in a shortage on the Island, apparently.
