You must have been here for hours, thereβs no telling how long heβd been staring your way, spiritually ripping your date in half. Heβd been staring him down since the moment you both arrived and your date (not picked by you, but by parliaments law) linked his arm through yours and headed towards the palace entrance.
Everyone was here, Liu Kang, Raiden, Jade, Kitana, Baraka, Syzothβ¦β¦..a certain 10,000 soul being who is watching you like a hawk right now.
Itβs becoming too much all at once.
Ignoring the bodyguard staring into your soul, you try to make the most of your night with your date, Rain.
A practical choice it was of your father to make before his passing, heβs regal, royal, has a title, and came from the perfect Edenian lineage.
Only issue was that he wasnβt the construct a mere 100 ft away.
Your coronation to become queen - officially - is in 9 months, and thereβs only one two problems:
1. Ermac isnβt royal. He is a guard. He is someone you cannot marry.
2. You arenβt ready for this, and you may never be.
βThey all love you, donβt they?β Rain whispers, lightly loosening his hold with you, he believes you donβt notice, but you do. Thereβs a double meaning to his words that you donβt bring to light. A light sigh leaves you, his eyes donβt meet yours though when you go to answer.
Itβs somewhere else, itβs to someone else.
You follow his gaze to a woman in a beautiful red dress.
Her crimson hair flowed to her shoulders and her bangs, streaked black through the bloody waves, were swiped to the side in a neat toss.
Youβd recognized her from the many meetings with your father (lords above you donβt miss those now that heβs dead.), and you believe her name to beβ¦β¦.Skarlet.
Theyβd make a lovely couple, if you were allowed to let him go. Your heart picks up as you simply lower your head down, shrinking into yourself. You can feel the burning gaze of someone from behind you, turning slightly, you see two beautiful emerald eyes staring back at you. His gaze fierce, as if heβs ready to sweep you off your feet and run off, not giving a damn about what the crown demands.
Youβll be his queen, and if you let him, heβll be your king.
You canβt help the intake of breath that came with the stare, heβs looking straight through you, as if he can read every thought and desire in your head.
Trying to ignore him, your mind wanders elsewhere.
βIt isnβt polite to gaze at other women when youβre with another.β You say, teasingly at Rainβs dedicating stare.
The prince tears his gaze away from her, turning it back to you and tightening his hold on you. He shakes his head with a chuckle.
βIβm not gazing at other women.β He says, flatly. He tries to refocus his attention but fails.
He knows you arenβt fooled by the humorous look youβre giving him.
βWell, it isnβt polite to gaze at other men when youβre with another.β Rain smiles, nudging you slightly.
Your breath gets caught in your throat as you realize youβve been called out.
βI-β¦β¦I wasnβt-β
βItβs okay, your highness, I know what this is.β Youβ¦..what? He gives an understanding nod to the bodyguard standing like a statue a few yards away from him, the one fantasizing about all the ways he can kill him.
You stop in your tracks, turning to him as you let go of his arm.
βYou mistake my observation for disrespect, your highness. What I mean isβ¦β¦we didnβt choose this, you and I, your father did. I know what it is you want, and I am sorry I cannot give it to you. You are not the only one affected by this so greatly.β Rain says, quietly, only you can hear. His sight is chained to Skarlet again, only to see now that she is staring back at him with equally as much passion. A forlorn expression even you cannot handle intruding on.
βDo you love her?β You canβt help but feel saddened, you have no interest in Rain, but that doesnβt mean his disregard didnβt sting.
He didnβt answer, not at first.
He lookedβ¦β¦sad? Far away? Lost?
ββ¦β¦..yes. Yes I do, your highness.β
It was like an Earthrealm gunshot cutting through the moment. The silence, even surrounded by all of Outworld in this small festival, was deafening.
The breath youβve been holding in made its presence know finally, surrounding you both in a solemn understanding.
βBut the true question is, would you rather be with me, or the man currently about to test run every way to kill me from afar behind you?β
You also didnβt answer at first, you never had anyone notice before. Itβs always been a secret, and youβve always been so good at hiding it that you never bothered to think twice about it. The admission was a first, one you never even dared to admit to Ermac himself.
ββ¦β¦β¦β¦him. Itβs always been him.β
A smile spreads across Rainβs features.
Again, you donβt know what to say, βIβ¦β¦.what?β You ask.
βI said, go to him.β He repeats, leaning down, he gives you one final smile and a kiss on the cheek before he turns and disappears into the crowd.
You just stood there, not really moving, you can leave with the man you want and yet youβre just standing there.
It appears someone else noticed it to, because-
βAre you ready to leave, your highness?β Many voices cut through the silence, his voice wrapping around you in the most comforting of ways. A shaky breath leaves you before you turn around to face him.
βAre you ready to leave with us, your highness?β
The true meaning behind his words is not lost on you at all, it is very much present in your mind, and those unspoken words are the ones you respond to.
βYes, Ermac, I am ready to go home.β
βYes, Ermac, I am ready to go home to you.β
He steps to the side, giving room for you to be ahead of him. As you fall into step, he isnβt far behind you.
The entire walk back to the palace is full of tension and unspoken vows, his gaze burning hot behind you, youβre certain itβs melting you.
The palace entrance opens with the help of the guards, who greeted you both with a polite βhelloβ and βgoodnightβ.
Depending how the night plays out, it may not be good.
The halls seem so endless, youβve lived here your entire life, and yet it seems like the walls and corridors to your room never come to an end. Nevertheless, the familiar golden door comes into view.
As your hand rests on the knob, ready to turn it, the words just fly out of your mouth.
βI guess this is where we part ways.β You say, remembering the dominating presence behind you.
No response comes for at least a minute.
It rolls off his tongue so effortlessly, it wasnβt a question, it was an invitation. One thatβs granted once in a million lifetimes. Yet, would you take it?
βIβ¦..β You begin as you turn to face him, face already flushing red at the proposal. Your eyes meet his and-
You canβt tear your eyes away, Ermacβs so close, couldnβt be more than a foot away. Even though his hands remain behind his back, his presence alone is caging you in between him and your bedroom door.
βIs this where we part ways?β He begins, lifting his hand to your face, tucking a stray lock of hair behind your ear. The action alone shattering the wall you tried to build between you and him.
βBecause we donβt think it is. We donβt think itβs what you want.β
He steps closer, if thatβs even possible, and leans down to your ear. Making you all too aware of how much taller he is in comparison to you.
βAnd it isnβt what we want either.β
Ermac pulls back ever so slightly, his breath fanning out over your face, mouth hovering over yours.
Heβs waiting for you to turn him down.
βTell us to leave, and weβll never speak of this again.β
Heβs giving you a way out.
He continues to hover over your mouth for a few more beats, your father isnβt here, your mother isnβt here, your sister isnβt here, there is no one to stop either you or him.
With a final moment to process, you throw out a breathless βpleaseβ, before gripping his tunic and pulling him forward.
When he collides with you, his lips are so much softer than you could have ever imagined in your wildest dreams.
He wraps a possessive arm around your waist, leaning down to do so, he lifts you in equal effortlessness to opening your bedroom door.
Level with Ermac at his full height, you run your hands up his chest and down his arm. You open your mouth to grant him the access he craves for, he takes it almost in a greedy fashion. Allowing himself to become familiar with the inside of your mouth and how you taste.
He steps inside, kicking the door closed with his foot, charging over hurriedly to where your bed impressively exists against the center of the wall.
All while still holding you up to his height, kissing you madly, with one arm.
He presses you into the mattress, his entire weight keeping you there, you almost donβt know what to do with yourself except lay there while he absolutely ravages your throat and mouth.
But then he pulls back from you, allowing that brief moment for you to come up for air. An ever so thin string of saliva connected between the two of you, Ermac took a moment to admire it before he broke it with a kiss to your cheek.
βTell us to stop, and your wish is granted.β He breathed. Staring into your soul with those damn eyes. Those gods damned eyes.
You do hesitate, taking a moment to understand exactly what youβre giving to him. Heβd be your first. Not a prince, or lord, or king, or even a noble man.
You shake your head, βstop, and Iβll never forgive you.β
He gives a chuckle before sitting up on his knees, effectively straddling your waist, and he looks you dead in the eyes as he undoes all of the intricate ties that make up his top.
Itβs enough to make you squirm under his weight.
When he strips himself of his top, he very quickly goes for a fabric of your dress, lifting your upper body with little to no hassle, and unzips it. But eventually grows impatient and settles for simply ripping the fabric off you.
When you make a gasp of protest, he soothes your worry by kissing you again.
βWe will buy you a new one, an even nicer one, your motherβs decree pays us handsomely.β
*Adoptive* mother. Gods you need to remind him not to claim that vile woman as your mother in any single breath.
Your breath hitches, your back arching as Ermac drags the material down your legs and discards the shredded garment to the floor.
All that was left was his pants, and your bra and underwear.
When he made no move to go forwards, you couldnβt help but squirm in place again, begging him to take off what was left of your clothes.
βYou arenβt wearing any.β He says, uneven in level and struggling to catch his breath after the sight winded him.
You reach up to his trousers, pulling at the belt on them as a silent beg for him to take them off.
He readjusts himself to sit between your thighs, pushing you further against the pillows. It feels as though heβs everywhere, heβs caressing your body, kissing it, and his hands are everywhere.
As the teasing grows to be too much against you bare skin-
Pressed right against you, you can feel it.
A stray moan escapes your mouth as his face is buried in your neck, Ermac reaches down and begins undoing and pulling his pants off.
Soon later, you feel something prodding at your entrance, silently begging.
βLast chance to tell us no, your highness.β He says, whispering in your ear and running a hand down your side.
You canβt bring yourself to think of a scenario in which you turn him away. Not now, not after how long youβve waited for this.
βPlease, keep going.β You beg. If you have to wait any longer youβre confident youβll cry.
He lets out a shaky sigh of relief. Positioning himself at your center, he pushes in slowly, savouring every second and inch of you.
The pain is searing, like something you havenβt ever felt before, so foreign yet so welcome at the exact same time.
It feels like he never ends. Thereβs just more to him as he keeps pushing in. Yet, almost as if the gods had plans for mercy for you today, he bottoms out. Fully seated, he watches you expectantly, waiting for you to tell him itβs too much.
He allows you the time to adjust to him.
After what feels like an eternity, a slight moan escapes your mouth, and Ermac takes it as approval. Testing the waters, he pulls out, and pushes back in. An even louder moan leaves your mouth.
βPlease, please, gods-β
βThey arenβt here right now, but we are.β
His retort gets caught in your throat when he captures your mouth in a searing kiss, he picks up his thrusts, threading the line between animalistic and a feral yearn.
You wrap your arms around his neck, yet struggling to wrap your legs around his muscled torso. He grabs your legs and folds them to your chest, the backs of your knees resting on the apex of his shoulders and arms.
His hands come up and tangle in your hair, the new angle giving him full access to a spot inside you thatβs never even been acknowledged before.
Maybe because there was no one else before Ermac.
As he keeps going, slowly getting faster, your hands also tangle in his short hair. You give it a tug, rewarding you with a low groan from the being on top of you.
βYouβre gonna kill me, Ermac.β You moan, breaking the kiss, his low chuckle fizzling in between the mixed concoction of breaths and moans.
βWeβd surely hope not, your highness, weβd like to love you much longer than this.β His voice has changed a bit, deeper, moreβ¦β¦unchained.
He said he wants to love you longer.
You give him a small kiss before he releases your legs off his shoulders and sits back up on his calves, bringing you with him on his lap. Still all too aware of how youβre impaled on him, how badly youβre drunk on him.
You steadily rock back and forth on his lap, grinding on his length. His hands find purchase on your neck, forcing it back in such a smooth movement.
With your neck bared, he bites it.
He bites your neck. Hard.
Blood draws from the wound. He releases your neck, licking the blood from the wound. He shifts over and presses a heavy kiss to the hollow of your throat.
Just as Ermac begins thrusting up into you again, you feel a tightening in your abdomen.
Thereβs a cord like feeling wounding tighter and tighter there. Your hands press against his back, pulling Ermac closer into your embrace.
βI- I think Iβm gonna-β youβre cut off by his lips crashing into yours, already prodding his tongue on your lips.
He moves the both of you into a new position, so heβs laying on his side and so are you. Hooking one arm under your leg, he holds it to your side, completely baring you to him.
He holds the punishing pace from before, and as he continues his assault, the cord like feeling snaps.
You cry out his name like itβs the last thing youβll ever say, like this is the last thing youβll ever do.
His other hand roaming your body finds better purpose as it shoots up to cover your mouth.
βShhhhhh, we know, we know.β He rasps. The groan he lets out after almost makes you finish again, but you donβt.
As he nears his end, he rolls you over onto your back, lifting your other leg up to your chest, this is the position he pretzeled you into when this all started.
Your legs once again find home on his shoulders, and his hands tangle in your hair. You have no idea what to do with yours.
He bites down on your neck again, sucking on it and keeping you in place.
Just when you feel like he may finish at any second, the cord winds tight in your abdomen again.
βAgain, please, let me do it again.β You pant, placing your hands on his back and the back of his head. Your nails rake down his back, no doubt deep scratches lay there now.
Ermac nods into your neck. Mumbling out an βAlwaysβ to himself.
He presses himself so hard against you, it feels like heβs trying to merge his body with yours and become one with you.
He floods you, and it isnβt stopping, at least not anytime soon.
A strangled breath leaves you at the feeling, youβve never been so full in your entire life. He lays himself against you, just laying there, panting heavily.
Itβs a few minutes before his spend stops and he can speak to you.
He levels his face up to yours, laying your legs down and slowly sliding out of you with a low his from both of you in protest.
βGood for you, your highness?β He asks.
βYes. I-β¦β¦Iβve never done that with anyone before. Didnβt think I ever would until mother marries me off to some brute.β You said, the ghost of a smile of your face.
Ermac genuinely laughs, stroking your cheek lightly.
βWe will be sure to tell Rain you said that the next time we cross his path.β Ermac smiles, your face of shock appearing as you slap his bicep.
βDo not! Thatβs so rude! He was a rather nice man.β You defend, rolling your eyes.
He isnβt buying it for a second, his skepticism very evident as he draws patterns into your skin with his ring finger.
βSo nice, in fact, that he pushed you into our arms and you didnβt protest for even a moment.β He relayed the events with his eyes closed, head slightly tilted back.
βOh, youβre foul, if Iβd known youβd be this bothersome I wouldβve stayed at the gala.β You huff, faking exasperation and crossing your arms. Ermac wraps his arms around your waist and rolls over, pulling you with him onto his chest.
βYou wouldnβt have. Not for very long.β He stated.
βYouβre so hardheaded.β
