#Eritrea has recognized the number of its children diagnosed with Autism. (And that number, whether or not accounted for grows.) 23 families in #Asmara have registered their family member on the spectrum, but one board member strongly believes the number is higher. "It has [to] be more," he said. One way NADSAE is breaking those barriers is through assembling a parent's manual in collabo with its parent ministries (Health, Education and Social/Human Welfare) targeting parents who a) need to understand the disorder and b) work with their children to help them develop their skills.
