☾ - sleep headcanon

Ru Hui used to have a habit of just flopping face down into a bed and sleeping right then and there without bothering to get changed, much less take off his shoes. He stopped doing that after he moved to Minato, Tokyo.

★ - sad headcanon

Ru Hui tends to snicker when he’s sad because he’ll get so confused by this newfound emotion that he tries to laugh it off to counter what he’s currently feeling.

☆ - happy headcanon

What are you talking about? He’s always having a good time, especially now. Anyway, he gets really pleased when people play along with his antics and humor him with puns and pranks.

☠ - angry/violent headcanon

His anger turns on like a switch, and he doesn’t even realize it. He gets explosive one minute, and he quickly deflates the next because it takes a lot out of him. 

✿ - Sex headcanon

Please. He is trash, and I cannot even. So, Ru Hui isn’t a virgin. He has tried things out just to see what it’s like, but he finds sex to be more “meh” than anything else. He still hasn’t had his first kiss though. Where are his priorities? I don’t know.

■ - Bedroom/house/living quarters headcanon

From his room back in Indiana to his dorm at Keio University and even the Not-Have room, they share a common pattern. Everything is rather tidy. Ru Hui may be a hoarder, but he keeps everything extremely organized and pristine.

♡ - romantic headcanon

I’ve mentioned it a lot, but here I go again. Ru Hui has a very unhealthy view on what love is. At least, for himself anyway. He’s not too sure what love is, so he mistakes it for any intense emotion, such as anger and hatred.

♥ - family headcanon

Ru Hui has a father, mother, and two siblings. He also has a bunch of extended family back in Shanghai, and he absolutely loathes visiting them if only because he has to remember every single honorific and title for each person.

☮ - friendship headcanon

Making food is too much effort on his part; however, if he ever does, it’s usually meant for someone else no matter what he might claim. He gets lazy, but he’ll shove that aside if it means he can sit down with company. He only shares food with people he’s comfortable with.

♦ - quirks/hobbies headcanon

When he’s thinking or mulling over something, he hums to himself. It doesn’t even have a tune or anything, just a soft and almost unnoticeable “mmmmm”.

☯ - likes/dislikes headcanon

Ru Hui dislikes animals a lot because ironically enough, they love him. He tends to get swarmed by them, and he just stares into space going, “why”.

▼ - childhood headcanon

Ru Hui doesn’t think much of his past, and he certainly doesn’t think it was horrible or anything of that sort. He just spent his childhood being [REDACTED] and [REDACTED].

Ru Hui was brought up to not waste food. As a result, he will consume everything and anything if he needs to. Even if it’s dreadful or scraps, his plate will always be clean.

He doesn’t care what he looks like, nor does he care for other people’s opinions on himself. He sticks to what’s comfortable for him, and that’s it.

Ru Hui’s actually ticklish, but he will never let out a peep. He’s stubbornly quiet and vibrates with intensity if he’s being mercilessly tickled.

shizuko sleeps all the time. she loves sleeping. honestly, she’d sleep through the trials, if she could. she finds sleep comforting because you escape everything just to rest.

despite what i just said shizuko experiences night terrors very frequently and sometimes grows terrified of falling alseep bc she doesnt want her mind to simulate drowning / dying

☆ - happy headcanon

shizuko really just wants everyone to be ok. she doesn’t care who you are; she’ll always believe in second chances and a chance to right your wrongs.

when shizuko is angry she will beat herself down until she is nothing (as seen in the trial) because she doesnt want to hurt other people

■ - Bedroom/house/living quarters headcanon

shizuko’s room is very cute. it’s colored pastel pink/purple/blue, and there are lots of pillows and stuffies everywhere. there’s a lot of care bears stuff too. there’s lots of stuff relating to stars / the moon, as well as her best work in somnology.

she falls in love with people she knows she shouldn’t.

her family is actually very tall, and shizuko probably has yet to grow.

shizuko is a very clingy friend. she requires a lot of attention (when out of this... whole mess) but her determination to help everyone probably makes up for it.
