Three theories on how I think Erchie died.
We see Munroe Dragging Erchie body in the middle of the forest dead at night, so my theories are.
Landmind. Erchie landed on one and his body was scattered (also, the list Mophead was given of the other soldiers who routined with them and Munroe could’ve been made parts with them)
Erchie killed himself and probably shot gun himself in the face where Munroe had to watch (Attack on Titan style)
Erchie tried to run away from the never ending war but was executed (maybe by the gods the crown army worships) in the middle of the night and Munroe tried to drag him back.
(The last two could explain why Munroe looks so guilty whenever Mophead bring up their past identity, believing he could’ve saved Erchie or guilt on what he not telling Mophead)
