#WHY 

"OMFG."

The hearth was blazing, heating our cooling skin from the cold January wind. Draco had grabbed a book from the bookshelf after careful consideration, before he sat down next to me. I handed him his cup of hot chocolate and he smiled briefly at me. He leaned against me, as he was oft to do when he was reading, and propped his head up on my shoulder. Something he knew I hated with a passion. Sometimes he still was the arrogant git from school. As I felt him shiver, I grabbed the plaid from the back of the couch and slipped it passed our shoulders. I raised my legs and after some grumbling and pushing we found a compromise and left our limbs where they were. I sighed and cradled my cup of hot chocolate in my hands, inhaling deeply. Draco closed his book and dropped it carelessly on the table before he laid his head on my chest. I grinned and pushed a hand through his fine hair before I put the empty mug on the table too. I yawned and snuggled deeper in the plaid, which earned me a sharp jab from an elbow. I grunted and settled back against the couch, the blond head still settled snugly against my chest. My eyes found the flickering flames and I watched it twist and turn before it all blurred in front of me and I realised I was on my way to falling asleep. But that was all right because Draco was, too.
