Kaylynn: Well this is an attractive line up of men. Lots of lightning bolts for Martin, Trent, Phil and Eric. None for Robbie. And negative lightning bolts for Mark and Derek. A focus on Pleasure first? Ugh!

Trent: You’re cute. I’m just going to swoop in here for the very first kiss of the competition!

Mark: I’m guessing you aren’t really into me? Kaylynn: No, not really. Mark: That’s okay, me neither :)

Robbie: Are we just going to have a boring conversation about the weather? BORIIIING. Kaylynn: Yes, talking to you is quite boring.

Kaylynn: I want a partner that I can be best friends with. Martin: Me too! Someone who will help me feel less stressed out in school. Kaylynn: Well, I certainly hope you don’t expect me to support you when you’re in school? I managed it on my own - so can you.

Phil: Hi. Kaylynn: Hello. Phil: Hi. Kaylynn: Hello. Phil: Hi. Kaylynn: Is it me, or are you shy around all women?

Trent: I’m not shy around any women! When I want something, I go for it. Brand new - never recycled. Kaylynn: Ummm. Aren’t you divorced? Doesn’t that make you recycled?

Derek: Nothing makes me happier than cooking. Kaylynn: I love cooking, too! It’s all about creativity and it can be SO artistic! Derek: For sure.

Kaylynn’s three closest friends, Ericka, Waylon and Lucy, have arrived to meet the Bachelors and have their opinions of the 5 remaining men influence who stays and who goes.

Waylon: Kaylynn is one of my best friends. That is literally the only reason I agreed to do this.

Ericka: It’s good to meet new people every once in a while. And since Kaylynn is going to marry one of them, he better be worth it.

After having a short conversation with each of the bachelors, Kaylynn was pretty happy. Surely one of these guys would make a good husband.

Eric recovered quickly from their poor conversation, instead opening up to her honestly.

Eric: Things don’t happen cause you wish for them. Things happen cause you take action. You’re gorgeous and I want you to know it. ;)

Kaylynn responded well to Eric’s flirtation and hug. And he gets the first crush of the game!

Trent, ever the man of action, swooped in for a kiss. He and Kaylynn both develop crushes.

Eric: I’m not surprised the other guys are as captivated by you as I am, but I hope you’ll save the last dance for me. No, Trent, you can’t cut in. Kaylynn: You are great at flattery. I have a crush on you, too :)

Meanwhile, Robbie and Mark made absolutely NO effort to get to know Kaylynn, and instead hung out with each other. You are already best friends! Get to know the Bachelorette if you don’t want to get sent home quickly.

Eric and Kaylynn then played catch.

Phil, apparently a reflection of how much older he is than the rest of the bachelors, found the day exhausting, and passed out before dinner.

Kaylynn: Who exactly are these two women who have crashed our first dinner?

Mark: Xiomara is a friend from my dorm. She definitely doesn’t have a Want to get engaged to me, I swear.

Derek: And that’s Nina Caliente. No idea what she’s doing here.

At the end of the day, Kaylynn had a lot to write in her diary about all the people she had met that day. Two crushes already!
