The 10-year friends Heo Jungmin and Kim Kidu diss each other  on ‘Gayo Plaza’

Actors Heo Jungmin and Kim Kidu brought laughter to their listeners with something that looked like a Tom and Jerry sketch.

The actors appeared on the April 10 broadcast of KBS Cool FM radio ‘Park Jiyoon’s Gayo Plaza - Plaza Market’ and spoke of their recent endeavors.

When the two got talking about singer and actor Eric, whom they acted with in ‘Another Miss Oh’, Kim Kidu blurted, “I like him so much,” then added, “Whenever I say I like Eric hyung, Jungmin disses me.”

Heo Jungmin answered, “He worships him too much.” DJ Park Jiyoon asked to this comment, “Do you not like Eric, Jungmin?” Heo Jungmin answered, “I do, but I don’t express it like Kidu does. I just do it secretly inside,” drawing laughs from everyone on the set.

Q. If you could pick just one celebrity sunbae you look up to, who would it be?

A. Shinhwa’s Eric sunbaenim. Shinhwa sunbaenims have stayed together as a group for so long but also have very active solo careers. Eric sunbaenim is especially busy both as an actor and singer, and I think it’s amazing how he plays the role of Shinhwa’s leader as well. It’s awesome how he is successful in both careers. I look up to him because he has such a good image both as a group member and as an actor.

Actor Kim Gidu boasted of his friendship with Eric.

On the broadcast of SBS’ ‘One Night of TV Entertainment’ that aired on the afternoon of March 7, Kim Gidu said, “Eric hyung dubbed me ‘meerkat’ on the set of ‘Another Oh Hae-young’. He’s 3 years older than me.”

He added, “Eric hyung texted me yesterday, too. He said he saw how I made #1 on the keyword search trend, and that he feels great to see me succeed. He’s a great hyung.”

It will also be launching new leports premium brands. The golf brand ‘Jean-Michel Basquiat’, by the artist of the same name who is often named as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century and holds the title of ‘Black Picasso’, will be launched sometime in October. It has designated Eric as its brand muse, and will hold a fansigning event to celebrate its launch at the Suwon AK Mall on October 11. The brand is set to become CJ O Shopping’s representative premium golf brands.

Q. How were Eric and Seo Hyunjin in person?

I wasn’t very close to Eric hyung because we didn’t have many scenes together, but we talked a lot in Phuket, and I felt that he’s a man that even men think is cool. His charms appeal to everyone. I can’t say enough about Ms. Seo Hyunjin. She’s so polite and she’s an actor I have a lot to learn from.

TvN’s ‘Three Meals a Day’ will be running a new Fishing Village season.

The first episode of tvN’s self-sustaining organic life show ‘Three Meals a Day - Fishing Village 3′ will air on October 14 at 9:15 PM.

Producer Na Youngsuk said about the new members of ‘Three Meals a Day - Fishing Village’, “Lee Seojin and Eric worked as a pair in the past for the drama ‘Firebird’. Eric is also the best fit for this season as his hobby is fishing. The youngest member Gyunsang is a strong and bright young man. I expect him to play his role as worker with the two big brothers.”

He added, “We will be moving to a new island this season, leaving ‘Manjaedo’ of the previous Fishing Village season behind. Hope you’re looking forward to the new island and new members of the all-new season.” The show starts airing at 9:15 PM on October 14.

On September 16, the tvN variety show ‘Three Meals a Day - Gochang’ aired its special behind-the-scenes episode.

At the end of the episode, a preview of the next season of the show to start airing October 14, ‘Three Meals a Day - Fishing Village’, was shown. Lee Seojin, previous member of the Jeongseon season, reintroduced himself to the show with a scene showing him driving a boat.

It was revealed he is to be joined by Eric and Yun Gyunsang. The teamwork of the three members, soon to be showcased as the episodes start to air, has been garnering much interest especially as PD Na Youngsuk had previously expressed his interest in Yun Gyunsang.
