Eragon has freckles on his cheeks and sometimes a few on his neck, shoulders, back, and arms in summer.

Elves talk really softly because of their heightened hearing and other races need to strain their ears to hear what they say.

A strange ship with a heron figurehead at the bow carrying 8 young men, a woman the same age, and a grizzled old man with a false hook shows up at a port, and Eragon is called upon to learn about them. Thus, the Herons meet a dragon.

Eragon once found a gap between worlds on accident, and when traveling through it, he found himself in a province named Flevoland, which he soon found out was in the Netherlands. He was totally taken aback that the province actually lived on the bottom of the sea and that there weren’t any mountains. But what surprised him most were the houses, clothing style, and the weird bike and car- things they rode on.

Orik doesn’t know what minions are, but he hates them with a burning passion.

Eragon would be the type to go absolutely nuts at concerts while Murtagh would be the one in the band.
