“They said they would try to have it fixed as quickly as possible,” Eska sighed, her face in her hands. “I’m not certain how long we have been in here, but I think that it exceeds ‘as quickly as possible.’”

Mizuko shrugged pondering about the question. Did Aquene really ask her that? “Have you forgotten how silly I can get?” She asked her friend and sat down in the middle of the living room. “You should know I do random things.” 

Aquene must have entered the house silently because Mizuko didn’t hear a single sound. She was in the spare room downstairs reading her braille when she felt a kiss on her cheek. The blind woman knew she was alone but it felt a little familiar. “Aquene. Is that you?”
