After the Sun Incident, the Gnomes, mad about the brief release of the Ice People, sent out a warning to a few of the Exclams, threatening a war to come within a week's time. According to Gnomish Folklore, they believe the sun to be a creation of a deity, made to seal the Ice People away in their caves so that the rest of the world could thrive unimpeded by the vicious magics of the Ice People. Attempts to prepare for the upcoming @gnome-armada were soon underway, such as two separate search parties scouting out potential Gnomish Territories. While they did find a few, one of the search parties went awry, having gotten lost in a forest. This lasted about a day until they finally managed to light a big enough signal fire to be found.

Throughout the week leading up to the Gnome Armada's Incursion, five major events happened; The Statalus incident, The Goblin Horde, The Dark Web Spider Breach, SYSTEM CORRUPTION, The Crimson Woodlands and The PLUS-MINUS CONTINGENCY. Three of which had lasting effects well into the incursion itself, namely SYSTEM CORRUPTION, CARR10N INFECTION and PLUS-MINUS CONTINGENCY.

Before the war was to begin, an ambush party went out to confront the leader of the armada, Hᴇᴀᴅ Lᴏʀᴅ Hɪɢʜ Tʜᴇ Rɪɢʜᴛ Hᴏɴᴏʀᴀʙʟᴇ Gᴇɴᴇʀᴀʟ Uᴛʜᴀʀ, consisting of @war-causing-interrobang, @percontation-mark, @druid-exclam. General Uthar, using the "Booty Buster 5000" and Red Mushroom Oil, defeated the party and forced them to retreat.

Early on in the conflict, @nefarious-exclam was taken out of the fight, having an iron gnome-shaped cannon ball blasted straight through him via cannons. Some time afterward, @mini-games surrendered herself to a group of gnomes and was escorted to a gnomish prison to be held while the rest of the armada took on Exclamania.

This conflict was resolved when @epcuartbook, brand new to the world of Exclamania at the time, had personally arranged the peace treaty after being brought to the gnomes' base camp. She served as the neutral party since she was so new to Exclamania. The people of Exclamania got together and chose their representatives for the peace meeting. The people chosen for this were @magic-foraging-tooltips(only Forage was present), @nefarious-exclam(under a guise of "Exclamarious"), @system-notifs, @magical-experiments, @trudle-the-faerie, @character-profiles, @combat-menu, @cmd-semicolon, @unskilledpoint, and @shady-item-shop. Along with the gnomish representatives of the Gnomish Armada, were @story-choices, and @rpg-weather-cycle, having fought on their side during the war.

A treaty was proposed, and the terms were decided: - Nefarious would have to be under constant surveillance with the reports going directly to a gnomish representative and research of - Mini was to be surveilled as well, and the research into her ice infection is to be funded by the gnomes. - Those who had fought against the gnomes were to aid in the rebuilding and healthcare of the gnomes, whether it be financially or physically. - Small territories were to be given to the gnomes.

Everyone had agreed to the terms, and signed the treaty, thus ending the war.

In the midst of the gnome/goblin craze, status spent ages trying codes, spells, and commands. With a combination of sentry programs routinely trying every possible code combination, and time dilation to lock the code's cycle into stasis, he had achieved godhood.

With his newfound abilities to bend the very game to his will, he went mad with power, banning two of the EPPRBCU blogs right off the bat, that being War-causing-Interrobang, and a newer Exclam, shitpost-mods.

Beta leaks had very quickly come upon information about the conditions of the dev perms, as the name "@statulus-updates" was added as the sole operator, after status had changed his name, and implemented programs to de-op any other operators.

Beta leaks was very quickly locked in a prism for the rest of the incident.

While looking for ways to save everyone, shady engaged in a battle with one of status's sentries, while the others tried to plan ahead.

Some members, like shrine maiden and buffs window, did their gimmicks catered to status to appease him.

We eventually came to the conclusion that beta-leaks was onto something, and formed a plan: distract status while one of us figured out how to get to the command window without operator permissions.

After a quick exchange with Boss and Maiden, we found a weak spot in the map, and I forced myself through, effectively no-clipping. This was rather painful, and it took a little while to properly clip into the void. With the help Unskilled, I finally to properly clip through, finding the command window shortly after.

During this process, the others tried to use a powerful group spell on status, which was quite effective, blasting a finger off. It bought a lot of time, so they regrouped to try it again.

Buying them time for the second spell, was Redacted, an exclam hidden in the code, triggered by the operator abuse by status.

After a full on frontal assault from both the spell and redacted's commands, they were able to keep status down until the correct command prompt was entered, removing him of his operator permissions, as well as blowing him up.

History:

A long time ago, he wanted to become a wizard, a dream he held dear. Unfortunately, it was a dream unfulfilled, after a rather cruel run-in with the Ice people, not only costing him his dream, but his right eye.

Sometime after this, he would get into a duel with [Data Expunged], in which he lost a finger, his pinky.

@nefarious-exclam, his childhood friend, had offered him help and shelter many a time, and a more permanent residence sometime before the Statalus event, with a few strings attached; Select would receive a permanent residence in the tower, in exchange for supplying Nefarious's army with characters when needed.

Sometime during their stay at Nefarious' tower, they voluntarily went through a surgery by Nefarious. Their arm and jaw have expertly made seam lines, barely noticeable at first. These are extra appendages capable of folding out, and are covered in teeth. These extra jaws aren't just for intimidation, as the arm jaws are capable of reaching past the hands, and the extended facial Jaw can cause serious damage.

Observations:

While I was [Data Expunged], I was able to collect data on major events. From this, I've gathered that Select is a very caring person, displaying an admirable sense of loyalty. He is rather.. wary, anxious even. He has a fear of the dark, which is rather unfortunate, given the Sun Incident.

They desire to know as much as possible, so they can't be taken advantage of, or left at the mercy of unsavory individuals like those of their past.

They subject themself their own experiments, like the one they had with Nefarious. They do not see the use of other test subjects as worthwhile, as they consider it unnecessary harm they would rather take on themself. While it speaks to their morals, I feel it may speak a bit about their self-image.

Miscellaneous Info:

I met him briefly quite recently, during the Vending Machine Incident. I was a little.. hungry.. as were the others. On an unrelated note, Select's halo tastes a little like a Twizzler.

His eye is grey and wears a somewhat worn wizard's hat. I believe it was originally Nefarious's. It seems to have magical storage capabilities, as I've seen them pull rather odd items out of that hat.

He often wears rather oversized clothing, to hide his scars, I believe.

somehow, @nefarious-exclam and @mini-games managed to extinguish the sun. This resulted in the return of the Ice People, ancient people freed from their eternal imprisonment, and with the world frozen over, they were free to reclaim their empires. Their ice magic froze anyone over from mere touch, and it acted like a contagious virus, having infected @mini-games.

Im not sure how, but @glitches-and-bugs managed to clone a glitched version of the sun in @nefarious-exclam's basement and promptly ate it.

Nefarious, likely mad that he now had a competition to take over the world, took on the brunt of the ice people's invasion, while Mini and @advancement-made worked on reigniting the sun.

Advancement managed to squish the sun with an orb of fire and plasma, relighting it. I am unable to offer explanations for this.

status offered a thawing device to nefarious, to help thaw out mini-games. while the deal was for 50gp, he doubled it and got away with the scam.

Resulting from the catastrophe that was The Dark-Web-Spider Breach, this incident started with System-Notifications, while on an investigation to find and eliminate the rogue spider that started it all, getting bitten, and thusly compromised.

Since System-Notifs was connected to the rest of the major systems, it didn't take long for corruption to spread to a level so close to complete catastrophic failure.

There were a few direct encounters with the corrupted System while the incident was in full force. The Nefarious Wizard was quickly incapacitated, having dared the corrupted system to do its worst against him. Due to the fact this nefarious' existence was somehow separated from his code and files, the corruption kept trying to delete what wasn't there, resulting in essentially constant death.

Weather-Cycles, on the other hand, managed to receive a much luckier fate, having found a way to redirect corruption to only one thread of their uncountable files, Red's. Unfortunate for them, but it kept weather-cycles up and running mostly smoothly for the time being.

John Tendrils Exclam The Eighth, on the other hand, took on the brunt of the corrupted system's wrath, having been the first one to come into contact with them after the initial spider bite. he was thrown into a tree and quickly torn apart by System's telekinesis, as well as her own tendrils.

The luckiest Exclam to have run into the corrupted System was Loading Tips, having attempted to hit the corrupted system with her bat, and immediately clipped into the ground upon contact. Tips was stuck there for a while until Prof, Settings, and CMD went into the void themselves to try to salvage the situation and prevent it from reaching catastrophic failure.

The last Exclam to encounter System, Weaponsshop, held her own just a little longer than the others, having the most awareness of System's abilities. She still didn't last too long, as a fight with System was literally impossible to win. She survived the encounter, but until System was properly fixed, the corruption would plague her and everyone else, even with the auto-fix programs running.

System was still corrupted well after the resolution of the corruption of major game files, running a massive risk, as she was still corrupted during the gnome incursion, where there weren't as many available members to deal with any other problems should they come up. Luckily, Loading tips was quick and clever, getting quick-auto-patches, with the help of cmd-semicolon, to be able to target corrupted files and avatars directly, while the auto-fix programs worked on clearing out and patching the data.

While the rest of the game was stabilizing, Loading Tips used the quick patch on Nefarious, since he was operating separately from his own files, meaning the auto-fix programs wouldn't be able to detect anything wrong with him.

Cmd-semicolon lost his left hand, and half his forearm, during the corruption. so far this seems permanent, as he hasn't been able to replace it yet. As of now, he still remains without a left hand.

System would have a small run-in with a gnome during the gnome incursion, and scared him shitless, sending the gnome back to his base with some minor corruption, intending to corrupt whoever the gnome came in contact with.

Tips would return to the void during the gnome incursion with Collectibles-Menu, no-clipping via the untextured polygons under a shrine in the Colli's museum. Tips got herself 3 more quick-auto-patches and used one on Colli to resolve her glitching.

The second patch would be used on the Corrupted System, the first attempt weakening the corruption before it was taken off. C!System made an attempt on Tips' life, but System used the weakened state to deny C!System's data overwrite permissions, buying Tips time to reapply the quick patch.

Midway through the preparations for the Gnomish Incursion, a few Goblin Hordes appeared from the woods and promptly targeted a few individuals. One of the hordes was caught chasing a certain small cat, with the intent to eat it, prompting immediate defense from Vance and Mini.

The other Goblin Horde was spotted by Finder, who got Boss to help them look for the goblin camp. After the goblins found them, they started antagonizing Finder, who ran to Boss's Fort, seeking shelter. This didn't last long, as the Goblins intruded and kidnapped Finder.

Once the Statalus event occurred, there was a call to arms for all exclams, though Finder was still stuck with the goblins.

However, they were able to contribute via the group spells. After taking down the self proclaimed god, the goblins were a little more grateful, and let Finder go.

While bored, @status-updates asked if they should start a little drama, just for fun.

It did not stay fun.

Resulting from a response by a certain interrobang, the interrobangs had established themselves in the EPPRBCU, and a civil war was started.

Started by @status-updates, the 'Anti-Interros' consisted of @nefarious-exclam, @mission-board (?) @loading-tips, @character-selecton, and @objective-marker (?)

The 'pro-interros' consisted of @advancement-made, @unused-questline, @mini-games, @glitches-and-bugs, @magic-foraging-tooltips, @evil-loading-screen, and @bossfight-messages.

@monster-bestiary, and @players-guide-to-magic had taken neutral grounds, wanting to be left out of the conflict. @daily-quest was not present for the conflict and is also considered neutral. @item-shoppe wasn't active during this conflict, I believe. Midway through the conflict, @location-finder was roped in but opted to stay neutral.

The 'Anti-Interros' were adamant that the interrobangs had no place in the EPPRBCU, being "abominations of punctuation", whereas the 'Pro-Interros' stood their ground, their existence was as justified as any other.

The Interrobangs were winning against the anti-Interros, and eventually, a truce was offered by @mini-games, before @status-updates would void it, insisting to continue the conflict.
