Lessons learned:

Fussy cutting takes a lot of practice to get right.

Need to remember to give my stitches a bit of a tug as I go to avoid gaps between my pieces.

Definitely use clips next time to hold the pieces together when hand sewing.

My first EPP top is done! In feeling good that I didn't let this sit in its bag forever and actually got it done soon after my class. Now there will be a bit of a break because my craft table is covered in costumes and Christmas gifts I need to wrap 😅

Now I need to:

Give it a good iron

Remove the papers

Trim the edges

Cut my batting (a layer of cotton flannel) and backing fabric

Sandwich the layers

Quilt it all together

Bind it
