Echo (deserves nice things)

Echo enjoys being teased. He delights in watching you peacock for him. His body has been altered and controlled, so intimacy for him is about choice and anticipation. Being teased isn’t about frustration, it’s about agency.

He gets to feel, to want, to watch someone want him back. This can go on for hoursssssss 🕑 😈

Crosshair (is a menace)

Crosshair, on the other hand, does NOT share Echo’s point of view. As far as Cross is concerned:

Which of course makes you do the opposite. And Crosshair, more than once, has stormed out to go sort himself out privately. He’s annoyed that his body betrayed him and furious that someone else noticed. Otherwise, he pretends to be grumpy about it, because he's a petulant cat.

Crossy Baby experiences desire like an uninvited shift in the wind when he’s lining up a shot. It disrupts focus. It compromises control. If it exists, it should be dealt with immediately and efficiently. And your affectionate needling is irresistible and infuriating to him in equal measure 🐈‍⬛️

Tech (is doing science)

Techy Boo, on the other hand, sees unexpected data, and runs to you enthusiastically with,

“I seem to be experiencing some sort of anomalous autonomic response. Perhaps we should investigate haptic feedback methods!”

Of course you’re game so it becomes,

“Oh, well, what sort of novel sensory stimuli can we introduce? Should we record our findings?”

Intimacy becomes collaborative experimentation: hypotheses, feedback, and of course, refinement. You match his energy, so intimacy becomes playful mutual discovery. Tech thrives.

Wrecker (is tender)

Wrecker, on the other hand, feels like his emotions are always too much, so he would never ask. He’s loud, strong, and emotional, and has clearly learned that those traits can be inconvenient or overwhelming.

He would hide it.

Not out of shame, but out of fear of imposing. He would be shy, which is why you would not in any way flinch. You are always there unequivocally, hands down, without any hesitation, and with snacks and Capri Sun 🥨

Hunter (needs a nap)

Poor Hunter, his whole nervous system is perpetually trying to yeet him into the next star system. Hunter’s world, like for most of us, is smell first, always. Scent is information. Threat, safety, proximity, and change. Artificial fragrances are noise in an already overloaded system. They keep him half-alert even in moments meant to be quiet. You understand this. No personal products with perfume or scent. You use unscented soap, neutral oils, clean water smell only.

Hunter

Hunter is incredibly touch-oriented once you’re together. Whether it’s an arm around your waist, a hand resting on your knee, or pulling you close while the squad relaxes, he always seems to know exactly where you are.

He has a habit of standing just a little too close. Reaching over your shoulder, leaning down to speak quietly, or guiding you through crowded areas with a hand at your back. He claims it’s protective instinct. You know better.

Seeing you wear his bandana, jacket, or one of his shirts secretly makes his entire day. He’ll act like you’re stealing his things, but he’s already mentally decided they’re yours anyway.

Hunter isn’t overly possessive, but he does have a tendency to position himself beside you whenever someone else starts paying too much attention to you.

His favorite moments are the quiet ones, watching sunsets together, sharing a blanket, or simply having you curled against his side while the Marauder hums around you.

Crosshair

Crosshair is the master of the lingering stare. You’ll glance up and find him already looking at you from across the room.

He loves making you flustered. A subtle smirk, a low comment meant only for you, or catching your eye at exactly the wrong moment can leave you completely distracted.

Physical affection from him isn’t constant, which somehow makes it even more meaningful. Every hand squeeze, every arm around your shoulders, every moment he chooses to lean into your space feels intentional.

Crosshair can be surprisingly protective. He won’t make a scene, but one look from him is usually enough to convince anyone bothering you to suddenly find somewhere else to be.

The more he trusts you, the softer he becomes. Not in public, of course. But when you’re alone, you’ll discover an entirely different side of him.

Tech

Tech doesn’t realize how attractive his confidence is until you point it out. After that, he accidentally starts making you blush on a regular basis.

He loves explaining his interests to you. Not because he thinks you don’t understand, but because he genuinely enjoys sharing things with you.

If you sit beside him while he’s working, you’ll eventually find yourself pulled into his space without him even noticing.

Tech develops tiny habits that become uniquely yours. Brushing your hair behind your ear. Adjusting your jacket when it’s crooked. Handing you tools before you ask for them.

He claims having you sit in his lap while he works is simply “more efficient.” Nobody believes him.

Wrecker

Wrecker treats affection like a full-time job.

Expect bear hugs from him constantly.

He loves carrying you around, wrapping an arm around your shoulders, pulling you into his lap, and generally acting as though physical contact is essential to survival.

If you wear one of his shirts, he’ll spend the entire day smiling every time he sees you.

Wrecker absolutely melts when you initiate affection first. A surprise hug or a quick kiss on the cheek can leave him grinning for hours.

Despite his size and strength, he’s unbelievably gentle with you, handling you like you’re the most precious thing in the galaxy.

Echo

Echo’s love language is taking care of you.

He notices everything. Whether you’re tired, hungry, stressed, cold, or simply having a bad day, he’ll pick up on it before you’ve even said a word.

He has a habit of reaching for your hand without thinking about it.

Echo finds comfort in your presence. After everything he’s endured, having someone he can trust completely means more to him than he knows how to express.

He isn’t flashy with affection, but every gesture is sincere. Every smile, every hand squeeze, every quiet moment together carries genuine meaning.

Before missions, he always checks in with you. Not because he doubts himself, but because seeing you one last time gives him something to come home to.

The Batch As A Whole

- The moment the squad collectively decides you’re family, your fate is sealed.

- Hunter worries about you.

- Echo checks on you.

- Tech explains things to you.

- Wrecker spoils you.

- Crosshair pretends he doesn’t care while caring the most.

- The squad constantly teases each other about who likes you the most.

- You’ll never have to wonder if you’re loved. Between the five of them, you’re surrounded by enough loyalty, affection, and devotion to last a lifetime.

- And while each member of Clone Force 99 shows it differently, they all share one thing in common:

Hunter: leaves his fallen hairs all over the fresher sink. Also doesn't clean his hair out of the shower drain. If it gets plugged up, he'll just stomp on it until the water slightly drains.

Wrecker: waits until you take a bite to ask a question that requires more than a “yes” or “no” answer. Stares expectantly as you chew.

Omega: leaves cups and glasses right at the very edge of the countertop. Is very surprised when one gets knocked off and broken.

Crosshair: offers to wash the dishes, then JUST washes the dishes. Doesn't wipe down the counters or put anything away. Congratulates himself on pulling his own weight.

Echo: arranges his food in careful, individual piles around the perimeter of his plate. Refuses to eat any that touch.

Tech: “puts things away” in places that make no sense to anyone except himself. Does not tell you where any of it went. When you ask where he put stuff, he tells you he thought it was obvious.
