[ â eyes wandering around the bookstore, all she saw, no, heard was citizens screaming and running around like children. how annoying. it ticked her off seeing the parentsâ of their kids doing absolutely nothing about it. they allowed them to run free and cackle into the wind as if this wasnât a place to be quiet in. rubbing her temples, she closed her eyes momentarily before opening them once more as she heard a maleâs voice nearby. âThereâs so much idiocy in this room,â was what he said. â ]Â
You think? I was hoping for a normal person in here and finally, thereâs actually a normal person. Like damn, all I wanted to do was have some peace and quiet whilst reading a novel. But, noooooo. This room is filled with running and screeching children with their parents videotaping their âso-calledâ cute children. Theyâre just⊠evil and loud.

44. Our muses are destined for each other after one lends the other a red scarf for warmth.
âDarling, itâs becoming colder within the days.â
Itâs a brief observation that the male who stood besides her created. Noticing the way the wind brushes along the surfaces, leaving a mark behind with the way a shade of pink to a deeper hue of crimson taints along oneâs cheeks. Itâs an endearing sight to see, yet the result after staying out and into the weather during Autumn and Wintertime itself isnât the best thing to do. Knowing how bad a fever feels or the way one sniffles with a tissue dabbing underneath the nose.
Naeun doesnât exactly respond back to him, lifting shoulders up in order to let the fabric of the scarf press against the sides of her face for warmth because itâs becoming too cold as they stand besides one another. Not that sheâs complaining or thinking of protesting, she enjoys this type of weather where she can layer up in the clothing that were tucked away during the summertime. Bundled up in oversized sweaters and a scarf to come along with it.
Shifting her body around until she faces Naoki, thereâs a warm smile resting along her youthful visage that made his eyes following along her tiny actions. Noticing the way her lips curve and the tiny steps to come along during the process as well. Petite fingers coiled around the cotton, unwrapping it around her neck in order to let it fall onto her dainty palms. âAnd you should have layered up more.â Naeun commented, hushed tone and a mist of fog slips right out with it.
And so he should have, unknowingly he rushed right out of the door to meet her presence currently. Therefore he didnât exactly think twice about his attire, not wanting to make her wait longer than she should be waiting; there was a part of him that didnât want her to stand on the pavement with lost eyes peering around the surroundings. Silently awaiting for him with uncertainty of whether he was bound to arrive then or later. âIâll keep that in mind. Itâd be a shame to become a burden.â
âYou arenât.â -- You wonât be.
It doesnât take much for her to say those words, never wanting anyone to feel as though they were becoming a weight pressed upon her shoulders. No one was ever a burden despite how hectic life is becoming for her. Taking another step forward, hands lifted up to coil the red scarf around his neck. Making sure it isnât too tight but secure to where it provides him with the warm he should have gained earlier. âAnd there.â Softly speaking once more towards the male, palms pressed upon his shoulders in order to give them a gentle pat effortlessly. âIs that okay for now?â
Taking his time in order to respond back to her, caught up in the way he lets his eyes fall into nothing else but her because truly captivating is what he can say about the woman who was right there. And he isnât too sure what he currently felt, there isnât any words to explain it either but the moment the pair of hazelnut colored irises meet a darker tone of his; he raises his brows briefly with a light chuckle. Dismissing himself, almost apologetically for gazing for too long, not wanting the younger to feel uncomfortable. âMore than okay. Thank you for this.â
âNo, no.â There was no need for gratitude, itâs a simple gesture is all and sheâs thankful for the way the wind brushes along her cheeks because there was an excuse for her if he were to point out the blush that rested along that area. Hands were resting along his shoulders still, steadily placing them along her sides to where they originally belong. âI should be thanking you to begin with.â
And with the confession that rings into his ears, noticing the pathway around the concrete beginning to clear up as he reaches over to clutch onto her petite wrist to tug her forth with him. âOh? For what exactly, my dear.â
âFor not leaving today.â
Perhaps itâs cliche, to feel this warmth and how the smiles come across their lips within time but he wasnât bound to leave her on her own any longer to begin with.
The quietness of the library was like always relaxing for Gaeul who was leaning back comfortably in her chair, a book in her hands as she devoured the words, absorbed by the story which was about pirates and hidden treasures and battles between ships. She was just about to find out who had killed the main character's father when someone cleared their throat, pulling out of her fantastic world as she jerked her head up in surprise, almost falling off her chair in a comical way. "Hi, I mean, hello, sorry. I was fighting a pirate-- I mean, not me, but the guys who are bad but seemed good at the beginning of the book are currently fighting pirates and I'm totally babbling... Which will stop in three, two, one. Alright. How can I help you?"
Send me CAN I KEEP YOU and watch my muse's reaction.
Her brows furrowed as she helped the male with his things. It was his last day in the hospital, being fully healed and ready to go. Sull Hee was assigned to watch him (also heal him) and they had grown close over the past couple of days. "Keep me? Unfortunately not but you can visit me here." She said in a soft tone, a smile still evident on her face.

Having a day off was not something to happen often considering tight schedules were part of his daily routine, but when the whole group did get one day to do whatever they wanted, they never really spent time together-- they would either go visit parents or go out with friends. Jongin was one of the few who had no one to spend time with-- no previous friends, no family, and his members knew about it, and the idol would always refuse any offer to join his team mates to go somewhere due the fact that he felt like he was a bother.
A deep sigh slips past the tan male's plump lips as he fiddles with his fingers, gaze lowered to the floor while sitting by a fountain at the park. The feeling there was good, calm-- all he needed to relax for at least a day without people screaming or calling for his name. Letting his head fall backwards, he lifts his gaze to stare up at the sky instead, a lazy smile crossing his lips-- it didn't last long though. At a voice that suddenly echoed into his ears, the idol jumps in his place while almost makes him fall into the fountain.
With a low gasp, the idol turns his head towards the direction of the voice, blinking several times at the male he finds himself facing then. Who was that? A fan, maybe? Then again,  he did quite look like one of his ex-team mates. Slightly shaking his head, he furrows his brows before running long fingers through dark brown locks. "I-- well. I wouldn't mind talking to you, sir."
Where was she? Groaning, Yena sat up, looking around her. She doesnât remember when she fainted in the middle of the street, but it doesnât seem like she was down for too long, seeing that not many people were surrounding her. Only a certain few and even those seemed to have been on the way of leaving. She looked up to see a man she doesnât recognize, furrowing her brows together. âWhere am I? Who are you?â
