Calling The Family
Ring, Ring. Every time Tata's murderous, fugitive husband called her at the Tequendama Hotel, the government would listen in. Escobar knew this, so he kept his conversations brief. ISA operators, called Centra Spike, were working hard to triangulate the origin of Escobar's calls. One of those operators was Hugo Martinez's son, Hugo Jr. He was tech savvy and knew how to handle the equipment that tried to locate the drug kingpin. In an effort to keep his son out of the direct line of fire, Colonel Martinez allowed his son to join the manhunt in a less dangerous but equally important way. This family phone would prove to be critical in the manhunt.
