I've seen a few posts like this lovely one talking about ideas for baked goods and the like during the Epagomenal days before Wep Ronpet. Of course, I have to throw in my two cents and offer up drink/liquid offering that can be used alongside foodstuffs, or as a solitary offering (for those of you who feel less capable in the kitchen.)
Of course, I'm talking about tea. I'll be making these along with personalized cupcakes for everyone.
Day 1- Wesir (Osiris)
For Wesir a simple tea made from black tea and roasted barley (recipe for roasting barley here) would be an easy offering with a minimal effort. The barley satisfies His association with grains and the black tea is strong and dark.
Day 2- Heru-wer (Horus the Elder)
Heru-wer is associated with oranges (probably because of the color and shape,) so a nice and strong orange based tea, like Lady Grey or an orange spice are great and easily acquired options. If possible, try to get an orange tea with cloves in it, just for a bit of spice. I'll be using a Lady Grey tea with cloves that's lightly sweetened with honey.
Day 3- Set
For Set I would suggest coffee rather than tea, but if you wanna stick with tea, try going for an orange tea or a red (Rooibos) tea, for color association. I'll be offering coffee mixed with orange liquor and melted dark chocolate (which I will not be consuming.)
Day 4- Aset
Jasmine and rose tea sweetened with honey and almond milk. Almonds are a good offering for Aset, so the almond milk adds that element to two sophisticated and light floral flavors.
Day 5- Nebt-het
For Nebt-het a floral tea plus a tart fruit, like cranberries or raspberries, is a good option. I'll be offering a raspberry hibiscus tea that's sweetened with honey.
These are all just my interpretations of information and people could have contracting ideas of good offerings based off upg, personal experience, or other research. I just wanted to share what I will be doing and offer ideas to you all.
For other non-alcoholic offerings check out this post for suggestions.
And, for those of you who are curious, my Epag days are August 6th-10th, with Wep Ronpet on the 11th.
