'Trump' windfarm consultation dates announced
A couple of weeks ago it was announced that 11 turbines are being planned off the Aberdeenshire coast.........which prompted Donald Trump and his minions to stamp their feet and blow hot air about the effect this might have on the views from his swanky new golf course, saying:
"We are here to stay and I don’t think it’s a good idea to interfere with our investment. We are not going to support a project that compromises what we have done. We will use any legal means in our jurisdiction"
Well, the public consultation starts in Peterhead on 29th August at the town's Palace Hotel, and the following four days will see the event in Newburgh's Udny Arms (30th August), Ellon's Kirk Centre (31st August), Balmedie's White Horse Inn (1st September), and Aberdeen's Double Tree Hilton at the beach (on 2nd September).
The project is called the European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre (EOWDC).
