I have to say, when Pokemon Z comes out and we go back to Kalos, It’s going to be very inconvenient not having the Eon Flute anymore.

I’m a sucker for the eon flute in oras. You’re flying around on a mega dragon (and Psychic type) Who needs a pokemon with fly? Not me.

My first time using the Eon Flute
in Omega Ruby and I see this Nameless Cave so I'm like "I'll check it out" aND I FIND A FUCKING MESPRIT I WAS NOT PREPARED
cuterivals: Something that pisses me off about the games... Probably the ORAS Eon Flute, having to watch the lengthy evolving scene every time you want to fly. I get they're trying to hype up mega evo but it makes what could be a really handy alternative to Fly as somewhat cumbersome to me.

From a programming standpoint, best way to handle this would be to make the intro and outro appear for the first time, and not appear in the later iterations.
From an in-universe standpoint, I don’t think much can be done. Animation tries to be as fast as possible while showing all the events(hopping onto Latios, Mega Evolution, moving upwards, hopping out of Latios etc).
I suspect if they develop this to how Fly works now, we won’t need to bother with lengthy intros, since the traditional Fly intro and outro would be sufficient(which themselves are rather lengthy but eh). But since this seems to be a one off event, I guess they tried to be as cool and complete as possible, rather than as convenient as possible.

ORAS birthday event & receiving the Eon flute Here's what happens when you visit a Pokemon Center in Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby on your birthday. (The same event can be triggered in X/Y as well) It's freaking adorable. Note: the Eon flute isn't a standard birthday gift, sorry :') I just got lucky with streetpass - on my birthday no less.
