condy is definitely not dead imo. she has the curse the handmaid gave to her, making her immortal + lord englishs slave + able to use a bunch of powers other trolls + humans cannot use, and since roxy doesnt have a bunch of op abilities outta nowhere she is not dead. she works by pokemon logic: her hp is at 0 but that just means she fainted, not that shes dead

that mention of hp is important though, because other people are also saying condy cant be dead, but for the wrong reason!! theyre all forgetting something important

sburb is an rpg

sburb is an rpg and rpgs have hp bars

roxy and kanaya were blasted point blank by condys eye beam attack and still came back perfectly ready to fight, because it didnt exhaust all of their hp. jane hadnt arrived at this point in the fight, the two just ran back into place a few seconds after condy landed again

this hp thing is also why nanna was able to revive jane! nanna cant revive dead players since she isnt a god tier

condy, another life player, wasnt god tier either, and couldnt revive her helmsman while feferi could quite easily revive wv

jane wasnt dead, she was just unconscious + low on hp

foe condy used sleep powder! jane fell asleep!

nanna cant revive players from the dead but she can restore their hp, shes done it with john too, but i cant find a screencap of that at the moment and im not about to go reread everything just to get one since im not sure what battle she did that in lol

boss battles in rpgs NEVER allow for a one hit defeat, no matter your level, ESPECIALLY not final bosses. condy is a life player too, mind you, and seeing as shes postscratch meenah, shes likely a thief of life, so that gives her an ability to heal herself, too. this is a boss battle. this is not like alpha dave and rose facing off against condy, as an impossible fight against a hyperpowered alien that normal humans like alpha dave and rose were incapable of surviving a fight against, this is during sburb, an rpg. its a video game

a sword through the chest didnt kill terezi, but she hadnt been attacked by several fraymotifs + god tier attacks, not to mention she was probably a very high level, which as everyone knows means your hp is higher

condy on the other hand was dealing with fraymotifs, and THREE god tiers attacking at once (+ one angry lesbian vampire, + jane and jasprose arrived later). her hp was low at that point and a sword through the back was enough to finish it off, which makes sense, seeing as weapons to the chest are consistently fatal in homestuck (meaning i also understand why other people believe she is dead for good)
