I Got Fired
This wasn't really a surprise, the writing's been on the wall for a few months. I've been a manager in the past, I know how the game is played. It's so easy to boil the frog and make it look like it's their own fault. If a company wants you gone, it'll happen
But it still sucks. It's nice to be out of that negative environment, but it still sucks. The job market is bad right now. My mental health is bad right now. My *physical* health ain't great right now.
Rinzler's happy I'm home early though, so it's not all bad. I'll have time to work on a few things while job hunting. Life goes on

It took five whole months from losing my last job, a lot of stress, way more interviews, tests, and reference bullshit than I ever thought I'd need, but in the end...
This job actually looks really good. It looks like stable employment that pays well. It uses my skills for something besides pointless capitalism and private interests.
To say this is a load off my back is a huge understatement. Much to do!

I say might, because even though I got an email saying they're offering me the position, I still need to do a crapload of paperwork for a security clearance AND a hearing test but I've been having wild tinnitus the past year
And I also need to submit references for my last five years of employment, but I got fired from both positions so it's like
Maximum stressful
And starting a new job means I won't be able to take time off for six months which means if my boyfriend does actually get off his ass and visit, it'll be between shifts while I'm adjusting to a new job so it'll SUCK
And I don't really want a job. I just want to lie down and die, yknow? So I'm stressmaxxing and choking on my own lungs because processing this kinda stuff hurts bad.
But! Job pays *real* good. So that's very nice indeed
