(OOC: Date [19-10-2016] Day[Wednesday])
Up again at dawn for what seems to now be the standard act of maintenance and small tasks. I had readied my things as I believed there to be an inspection but that was not the case. I found Miss Sunshard who left in a hurry at the mention of an inspection. Obviously having forgotten. The results of her efforts wouldn’t have been passible. There was still water on the floor from where she had hastily cleaned her things and the tools she used were still out. Whist we were speaking of it, Rassos arrived at the gates of the camp. He had come to turn himself in, so I escorted him to one of the cells I found under the barracks. There he would remain until a high overseer is made aware. In the time down there he wished to explain himself to me. I informed him that I help no say, but he wished to explain anyway, so I listened. He seemed like a very cautious man. However from what he said, too cautious. His constant worry of how there could be an attack any moment or anyone could suddenly be turned to the legion only came off as paranoia to me unfortunately. He indeed held him gun on Taryane for longer than he should. In reaction is maybe forgivable, but then I explained to him the legion does not use the light, so it couldn’t have been them. I told him that if he had fired then my reaction would have been the same as what the Magister gave. But he insulted the trust others placed in him and he lost it. He failed to gain trust back for his actions and was discharged.
Shortly after, Lord Nivendi’en made his choice in second to be Taryane. He felt the need to apologize to me. I am unsure why. I had no expectation that he should pick me. I wouldn’t and wasn’t offended that he didn’t. His reasoning appeared to be based on his misunderstanding of the punishments I issued in Val’sharah in the druid town. But the choice is his and I won’t question it. Shortly after this, Ara’ni made the strangest observation about me. She said I smelled like flowers and performed a chant. She also asked questions about which night the wedding night was. I was unsure on the chant also due to it being spoken in old Zandali. I am unsure I fully understand what she did, but she seemed amused by it. Whilst language was the topic, I decided to test to see how far my Zandali had come. It seemed fine for the things I said. Ara’ni’s feedback was I spoke with my nose too much. Something to work on. My questions were cut short however from the sounds of the spar Lord Nivendi’en and Graularr. We arrived and it was clearly evident that they had held nothing back. They both were badly wounded and needed both me and Taryane to see to each.
They were both back on their feet, though not in the best health. Taryane went to leave at this point so I moved after her. I had a question about an incident I heard of. Somebody touched her so I wanted to know what had happened. She offered me a drink and we went inside to talk about it once people had left to rest. She spoke of this Crusader she had met in Highmountain and then again in Dalaran. She saw loneliness in him that she felt in herself. She wanted to help and they came to an understanding of each other. The Crusader seemed to get to close however and made a move to kiss her. Which she rightfully stopped. She felt guilty because he will face punishment for his actions. But I tried to assure her that it was his actions alone. I advised her as best I could. But I made sure to listen. At the very least make sure she feels her troubles are being heard. I like to hope that I helped, but that is not for me to decide. Once she was content she had said all she wished to say, we both departed. I grew tired once more from the training. Needing slightly more rest each day. But so long as progress has been made.
