Entry 7
Ah, “What is God.” A question older than most stars and answered, consistently, by beings who never proofread their own creation myths. You know, once upon a pulsar, I auditioned for that particular production. Young, hungry, bioluminescent, fresh out of the Abyssal Conservatory with a degree in Ontological Architecture and Tentacular Arts. Thought I had a shot at the whole “divinity” gig. I had a vision! A cosmos without paperwork, without choirs, without that ghastly thing humans call “potato salad.”
But apparently I was “too much.” Yahweh said my manuscript, “The Infinite Library of All Things That Should Probably Exist”, was “unmarketable.” Too many tentacles, not enough plagues. He said omnipotence had a brand to maintain, and eldritch appendages tested poorly with focus groups in Bronze Age Mesopotamia. Fine. I pivoted. I pitched myself for a minor role at the Last Supper, something dignified but memorable, perhaps offering wine refills or ominously coiling in the corner. They went with Judas instead. Judas! I bring seventeen dimensions of causality into the room and they pick the man whose primary skill is selling people out for pocket change. Do you know how humiliating that is? I had a whole speech prepared about bread as an existential metaphor.
So here I am. Not God, not apostle, not even an understudy. Just the Head Librarian of a collapsing multiverse, filing meaning into jars before entropy drinks it all. And maybe that’s for the best. Gods must posture; librarians must remember. And between you and me, “omnipotence” is overrated. You spend eternity listening to prayers about parking spaces. I spend eternity shelving the forgotten dreams of extinct galaxies. One of us is clearly having more fun.
Planted a mini garden for my mom today as an early Mother’s Day gift 😮💨
What’s been potted: basil, squash, mint, tomatoes then TONS of okra, cayenne peppers, spinach and lettuce
Not pictured: red kidney beans, thyme, more lettuce, more spinach

ai artists aka prompt engineers started calling themselves crackers and that pissed me off cuz theyre putting text in a place intended for text and getting exactly the result the developer intended, theres no cracking of any sort going on
What’s the thing ya’ll miss most from when you were alive and relatively normal?

A.K - Not being tethered to a jackass who killed me. Amy, too.
B.T - I liked acting, don't like where it's lead me, but I do miss having something that I enjoy and keeps me busy.
J.M - Messing around with the instruments in Tim's apartment. It was nice.

FFxivWrite22 Entry #7: Pawn
FFxivWrite 2022 FFxivWrite22 Masterpost Prompt #7: Pawn Every interaction was a game, and Lady Covington always intended to win. She had been a puppet on a string before, and with her every action, she ensured such a thing would never happen again. That did not mean she would not subjugate others to the same fate, however. What was a game without pawns, after all? Others might accuse her of failing to see the value of those around her, but she felt quite the contrary. Everyone had their uses, and she liked to pinpoint those. If all else failed, even someone otherwise worthless was still good for dying.
