Sapphira wasn’t really one for this kind of music, but she was always interested in the ones performing it. It was no secret that some of these performers weren’t exactly Human. They were damn good imitations, but under all that skin and hair were metal parts. Even still, one of the things Sapphira couldn’t stand was the nature in which these performers were treated and handled.
Fans at the very least were kind to these people, most of the time. They treated them much like they would any other celebrity. Of course, there were the ones who had no boundaries, and they were the worst of the bunch. Since they were automatons, those people didn’t believe they needed to give the stars any semblance of privacy. In their minds, they couldn’t feel, so who cared?
Sapphira found her way to a specific performer, one by the name of Ekko. Seemed entertaining enough, but this one just seemed a little different to Sapphira. She watched him sing and dance his song. The pop star energy really pulled through when he performed. She found it entertaining, but even still, the glass surrounding the stage rubbed her the wrong way. This was a place for entertainment, and yet she felt like she was watching an animal at the zoo.
Once the song ended and the people around the place clapped and started leaving, Sapphira turned and walked off to the side of the room, continuing to examine the other parts of this...display. As she turned back to glance at the performer, she saw the sudden change in his attitude. Pop star, singing, dancing, and loving to perform had now become sad. A prisoner. The smile quickly came back when people started to file in for the next performance. Sapphira frowned, before a small grin graced her lips. Time to have a little bit of fun.
As the next song started, Sapphira made sure to get herself close to the front, watching from the front row. In the middle of the song, when a couple of the fans approached and Ekko began interacting with them, Sapphira walked to the edge of the glass and smiled back at Ekko, tapping her index and middle finger quickly on the glass. She waved at him and walked back off into the festival. Next time someone came up to put their hand on the glass that was holding Ekko prisoner, they’d quickly realize that the glass barricade....had vanished, and Sapphira was no where to be seen.
