Because a part of me belongs here.❤ ・・・ Its quite fascinating to experience culture through ones own interaction with the local community rather than getting information from others negative ,ignorant statements on race ,ethnicity and culture. ____________ Yes off course cultural shock can occur when you travel and it's normal ,but that doesn't mean one has to ridicule a culture ethnicity or beliefs just because it's not what you practice/preach / accept. During this trip I had the most beautiful experience of meeting kind and generous people and their overwhelming hospitality which I will never forget. __________________ I have been asked several times by my acquaintances, colleagues and friends why am I in awe when I talk and share about my trip to kerala. Let me tell you there are mainly two main reason why and what drives my thoughts and Interests to this southern state of India. The first reason is that my ancestors had trade routes to kerala and especially the coastal region of northern kerala which dates back to 1700 AD . The city of #Calicut also known as #kozhikode has been a hub for trade between Kuwait and kerala during the British rule of India and also during the time of British east India company, which some of my followers already know.
