Star Warsthe first character i ever fell in love with: Oh my god, I was so young. My very first screen name in like…. 92? was Leia-based, so definitely her or Hana character that i used to love/like, but now do not: Well kid me didn’t really care about Luke much? But the older I got the more I appreciated him. This poor kid who was stuck on a backwater planet and dreamed of adventure and leaving home and watched his friends go one by one, and then lost his family and his home all at at once and stumbled into this thing that was greater than himself and rose up to meet it with a strong heart and so much compassiona ship that i used to love/like, but now do not: I can’t think of one? I still pretty much hate all the ones I used to hatemy ultimate favorite character™: I mean, Jaina/Ahsoka/Leia/Padme/Han/Luke/Winter. I can’t really narrow it down any further lolprettiest character: Padme, Natalie Portman’s gorgeousmy most hated character: Kylo/Maul/Kyp/Caedus/Jar Jar/Boba Fett/Vergere/Ventressmy OTP: Han/Leia for literally my entire life, and fuck you eternally Abrams and Kennedy, your canon is fucking bullshit, Han and Leia were together and stronger after fucking everything they went through and only loved each other more for it, nothing could fucking break them apart and if you were gonna kill Han anyway WHY DID YOU SET UP THIS SHITTY ASS CANON, EU for lifemy NOTP: Kylo/Rey, Maul & Boba Fett/life, Kyp/Jaina, Anakin/Obi-wan, Obi-wan/Qui-gon because I do not see the appeal of master/padawan relationships AT ALL, Luke/Leiafavorite episode: Empire in the movies, any Ahsoka episode in the shows lolsaddest death: God, I walked into TFA opening night knowing Han was gonna die because obviously Harrison wasn’t gonna sign up for 3 Star Wars movies at this point, and we always lose one of the old guard in the first of a trilogy, and as soon as we saw the bridge I started crying before it even happened and then didn’t stop until after the credits. Also: Anakin Solo, which was amazing because until the book before his death I resented him for usurping Jaina’s place as the ~tech savant~ because god forbid a girl keep that role better give it to the other fucking child but jfc, his death was so heart-wrenching. ALSO, Order 66 just in general, always makes me cry a lot, because the Jedi were so unprepared and they’d spent years working with the clones and trusted them completely and had no defense and the clones themselves were being used and had no choice and PALAPATINE IS THE FUCKING WORST. AND Satine and Padme, because really this series just loves breaking my heart over and over again and also fucking fridging ladies to make men sadfavorite season: Omg. Uh. Well s1 has some good episodes but is probably my least favorite overall, probably one of the later ones because I love Ahsoka’s “older” character design and it gets more serious and intricate and getting into the ethics of how fucked up it is it that hey, we CREATED literally millions of people whose only purpose is to be cannon fodder in this warleast favorite season: 6, because no Ahsokacharacter that everyone else in the fandom loves, but i hate: Kylo/Hux if we’re talking about That Sect of fandommy ‘you’re piece of trash, but you’re still a fave’ fave: Han lolmy ‘beautiful cinnamon roll who deserves better than this’ fave: PADME. FUCKING PADME. She’s one of the coolest fucking people in the universe and ALL HER SCENES ARE CUT. Padme is so, so good. She devoted herself to making the world a better place as a literal child, enrolled in a special political school at the age of 8, was fucking mayor of Theed at 11, and became queen at 14 because she wanted to serve the people. They wanted to change the constitution because they loved her so much and wanted her to stay queen longer. She secretly went through the same training her bodyguards did without them knowing who she was because she wanted to be prepared but not receive special treatment. She’s smart and compassionate and badass and ALL HER SCENES THAT DON’T DIRECTLY REVOLVE AROUND ANAKIN GET CUT. I will never forgive George for now showing her forming the beginning of the rebellion with Bail and Mon, when that arc is so important both for her and because we later see her children finish it. Seriously, fuck you, George. ALSO, fucking Jaina, who suffered 20 fucking years of love triangle after goddamn love triangle because hey, she’s the girl, why give her anything else to do, am I right, boys, let’s try and have her hook up with her dad’s best friend right WOULDN’T THAT BE SO COOL, LET’S HAVE HER GET BRAINWASHED BY BUGS FOR SEVERAL YEARS, WHAT A GOOD IDEA. WHERE IS MY SWORD OF THE JEDI TRILOGYmy ‘this ship is wrong, nasty, and makes me want to cleanse my soul, but i still love it’ ship: Eeeeeeeh. Barriss/Ahsoka is the closest I get because of Barriss’ character assassination, which is why I pretend it never happenedmy ‘they’re kind of cute, and i lowkey ship them, but i’m not too invested’ ship: I wish there was more Obi-wan/Padme about raising the twins together
