Would you mind sharing how you replaced the bars in the hands?

Just cut out the old ones with an exacto knife, drill two small holes in the center of the joint from one side to the other and then just put a garden/flower wire in it (maybe add a drop of superglue to make sure its not slipping out).

You also might need to deepen the space below the bar- since the bar is now lower, there’s not enough space to fit a string under it.

Another mod I’ve done... removed the eye holder thing inside the head, so 12mm eyes fit too (tbh I just did that because I ran out of 10mm eyes. But it works).

Looks very nice, especially the honeycomb! If you’re changing the bee (looks cute like this, but I’m sure you can make it even cuter) maybe consider adding a chest piece? Right now the body is two pieces, head and butt. Bees have a head, chest (with wings and legs) and butt. In case realism is what you were looking for :)

I was figuring cartoony was better for the graphic read and the easiest way to cartooning a bug is to smoosh the thorax and abdomen together I’ve learned but I think that cartooning it up in such a simple way is exactly what’s bothering me about it so prob going to rectify that so good points.

I actually am rather fond of drawing bees. I have a whole little mail messenger bee character! (Though once again I had no qualms messing with the body some to make it anthro lol.)

It looks great! Would you be willing to share the pattern? Specifically the bodice and sleeves. I’d love to make something like this for my doll :)

It would be amazing if something like that existed. Putting it together would be a lot of work, but once it exists people will be happy to contribute their pictures I think (at least, I would).

I think even a list of all sculpts that exist would be something that would probably never be finished... Since I’m a spreadsheet nerd I’ve started a Soom spreadsheet a while back (so that I could check if certain sculpt/resin color combinations were ever released), and that thing alone lists 333 dolls ONLY from Sooms Gem page, so Idealians, Neo AngelRegion, Lila and Rosette are actually still missing :|
