Technically 25...unless we count extenuating circumstances. The lad’s got some existential crisis problems of a supernatural sort involving whether what he experienced was real or not. In which case, he’s more like 42 on the inside, 25 on the outside.5. how much do they weigh?198 lbs./89 kg——————————————————E: External Personality1. does the way they do things portray their internal personality? Oh yes very much so. Declan’s always been more of an “actions speak louder than words” sort, but due to his plot shenanigans that’s become more pronounced. He’s very particular about his actions and how they’re executed, hates being rushed if he’s not practiced for a situation. Is very fond of orderly environments over chaotic ones, and it shows in how he organizes things. He’s not OCD about organizing, he just likes knowing where to find something if he needs it, so there’s a comfortable amount of organic-ness to his spaces, just neatly so.2. do they do things that conform to the norm? Generally yes...until now. It’s a new development! :D3. do they follow trends or do their own thing? Declan was more of a trend follower for the most part, though he tried to do more of his own thing in private. Now, though...he’s struggling with that. Nice little not-externally-middle-aged crisis he’s having there.4. are they up-to-date on the internet fads? Not really no. xD He’s not really a social media sort, but he gets some inklings that trickle down the grapevine of what’s going on from other people, like family and friends.5. do they portray their personality intentionally or let people figure it out on their own?A little bit of column A, a little bit of column B. About thirty days younger than I am now. xDD He’s a new lad, fresh from the imagination machine.2. what inspired you to create them? Discussions with @Englass about monsters and eldritch horrors, the apple tree from Far Cry New Dawn, and a “gee what if?” thought, which hopefully I’ll finish soon, since it’s in my docs, mostly written. x’DD We’re getting there!3. were they different when they were first created? Nope, he’s a baby OC here, growing slowly as intended as details get added to him. :34. do you enjoy writing them more than other characters? Not necessarily, I like him but Joshua’s the one I’ve put the most time and thought into, whereas Miller is more rage and wrath and angry snarking, which is fun. Declan is still sorting himself out as to who he is and who he wants to be, which is also fun, but he’s much more quiet (literally) as a character than the other two, who are loud sorts. xD5. what’s your favorite thing about them? His relateability for me. I made him specifically Chinese-American to just enjoy a character enjoying aspects of my culture that I too enjoy, like he fucking loves steamed red bean buns, they’re lovely, soft, warm and sweet and just 👌✨He is an absolute sucker for those along with good, proper potstickers/wontons. Knife cut noodles? Hell yeah. Chinese dramas are his shameless guilty pleasure to watch at home on a rainy day. He’s a simple man at the end of the day and just wants things to work out nicely for all. Too bad life’s not always that simple, especially for him, the poor man. He gets by though. x’D
