Repost from @baristaman - Ever had an EK43 shear plate break. Sometimes they are hard to get a hold of, sometimes impossible. Sean Alcorn of @aceservices recently helped out when I was in a jam with one of these bad boys. Not only has he helped he's also made these in meterials that are malleable meaning before they break and leave you without a grinder, they will should signs of bending, if they bend at all! Available in aircraft aluminium, brass and copper, they are the real deal. One last thing, he's even provided a hole so you can carry them on your keys so you always have one at hand. Sensei: "We need to conduct the test today, so we can use the data in tomorrow's discussion ..." N: "The test is difficult ..." C: "Maybe we should postpone it until tomorrow. Covering these sensors will take long time ..." Me: (I know sensei's determination, I already expect the outcome. We will finish it by tonight) And yeah, it's proved. We could conduct this slope failure model test even under "real rainfall" and cold weather. I always amazed with the determination of Japanese people. I may conclude the situation this evening like this: Do not let yourself down mentally.
