Got this magneto at the airshow swap shop back in April to practice taking apart and inspecting. It's suspiciously.. clean/new inside for a $10 mag! Brand new/overhauled, these are easily about 120 Xs that. Thinkin since there was only 1 for sale there I'm guessing the pilot upgraded one of their magnetos to one of the new electronic type (tho common on cars now, the tech still in it's baby stages in aviation, so the FAA requires 1 of the 2 mags planes have installed to still be the old, time proven mechanical type).
Tempted to attempt to see if it'll run with a socket attached to my drill. If it does I may see if it can be compatible with the Ultra Pup. It's like 8 pounds lighter than the tractor magneto the Ultra Pup came with.
