My favorite color is violet and I can’t show you. Your screen approximates violet by mixing a lot of blue (short waves 445 nm) with a little red (long waves 575 nm). Real violet is a shorter wavelength than blue with no red in it at all! Get a black light or a cheap 405 nm violet laser and compare: the digital approximation is poor and murky - true violet has a stunning clarity. There are so many more colors in the world than you can see through a screen!
The triangle is sRGB color space - computer color. The gray area is the extent of human vision, and its boundary curve is pure single-wavelength color. My beloved violet sits in the bottom corner by the “380” marker.
