Ah, it’s that time again. I received the Endless Summer VoxBox in the mail a little while ago, and after much deliberation and procrastination, I am finally here to evaluate.
I will start off with the disclaimer that I haven’t gotten around to trying ALL of the products yet. But I will get there, and I will update this post as I get around to it. So, let’s go.
Max Factor Masterpiece Max Mascara: I broke this bad boy out because my ol’ faithful mascara finally dried up and had enough. And I am honestly so impressed with this. I have gotten mascaras before in Voxes and they have been good, but this one blew me away. It literally looks like I am wearing falsies and the application is smooth and easy. Product doesn’t clump. Just adds a ton of volume and a ton of length. I am incredibly impressed, and I WILL be buying this product again. Rating: 10/10
Max Factor Masterpiece High Precision Liquid Eyeliner: I figured while I was trying out the mascara, it was the perfect opportunity to give this sucker a go as well. First eye, left eye, I was incredibly impressed with the ease of application. Looks good. Nice and dark. Smooth lines. Cool. Second eye, right eye, I was let down. The product had already started to dry out and no matter how many times I traced over my wing, it wasn’t anywhere near as black as the first eye. It was gray and faded and honestly looked like next-morning makeup. Wah. Rating: 2/10
Not Your Mother’s Way to Grow Leave-In Conditioner: I haven’t reviewed this product yet because I follow a strict “curly girl” regimen of products. I will check if this product is safe for my regimen, and come back to write a review if necessary. Rating: N/A
Seche Vite Mini: Okay, am I the only voxer that is incredibly disappointed that we didn’t get BOTH colors?! Lol! I got the lighter pink color. It’s pretty, and clearly it is a product of great quality. I really enjoy the shape of the handle. However, I wasn’t incredibly impressed with the nail polish coverage. The color applies a little thin. I’m a busy mother so if I have time to paint my fingernails, it’s rare. I definitely don’t have time to do a billion coats to have the color look even. Rating: 5/10
Iron-Tek Essential Protein: Had to whip this up real quick because I was craving something chocolatey and yummy. I mixed mine with unsweetened almond milk (instructions say water or your favorite beverage) and it was just okay. It sort of filled my chocolate craving, but I think I’ll be headed back to the kitchen for something else. I probably won’t buy this, but it was fun to try. Rating: 7/10
Numi Organic Tumeric, Jasmine Green, & Pu-erh Teas: I don’t drink hot tea so I will probably give these to my brother who is a tea-enthusiast. Rating: N/A
I received these products complimentary of Influenster for testing purposes.
