I'm not 100% satisfied with how it looks tbh, the reply chain doesn't look very real, because there's no "replying to @/blank" thing (which really bothered me initially because I'm an avid twitter user and I wanted mine to look as realistic as possible, for a crazy second, I even thought about photopshopping but who has that much time omg. certainly not me) but it's still very fun and fairly easy to use!

Update: So... it would appear that a source going over most of the lore has fallen into my hands. Good news, I don't have to interview anyone anymore-- I'm 90% sure most of my questions will be answered in the reading. Bad news, this is going to be a LOT of reading. I'll try to sum up everything I've learned, but god, this rabbit hole goes deep. This is going to take.. a while.

i just caught myself doing the thing i do where i start reading a good post, but then it has so many reblog additions that i finally just want to move on and i start scrolling but it keeps going and then i start scrolling faster and its still going and then i start furiously nodding my head and doing that-

Why do you use ai? Do you not want to try? Where is the beauty in it? There is a beauty in asking a friend a question, and them being like, "huh, i dunno... let's search it up." There is a beauty in sitting there next to each other, shoulders pushing into each other as you both try and point out useful looking links. There is a beauty in going down a rabbit hole -- one article leads to the next, and then to another, then one of the titles reminds you of a random headline you saw once, and then you spend another half an hour typing in any and every iteration of the keywords trying to find it. There's something beautiful about the way you talk when we can't find it as we scroll endlessly through the new page, trying to recall its absurdity from memory, and then it reminds me of something, and then I try to recall it, only to look it up. Some other length of time, and then I've just remembered that really cool thing we saw on one of the news thumbnails, and we try to search for it, knowing full well we can't afford it, and then we gawk at the prices that we already knew would be high. Now, since we're on ebay, we're looking for random shit just to see if someone actually sells it, and then we break out laughing that someone actually is. And before we know it, I have to leave but we "barely got to do anything." And we laugh, because "...what were we trying to find again?" and "omg we didn't even figure out what we were looking for." And then we laugh on my way out. Why do you use ai? Can you not be bothered? Do you not want to spend time with me? Here, close that ai overview. Let's put it into the searchbar. Let's go searching, not for the sole sake of finding the answer, but for the journey that we get to have together. And hey, if you really needed the answers... I'll just get my version at home and let you copy them.
