At long last, with the Endless Summer screenplay finally completed, I am excited to announce the fanfic project I have been sitting on for a long time, which I’d like to call...
*drumroll please*
...the Choices Interconnected Universe! Or “CIU” for short. Posting under a read more because this post is probably gonna be LONG:
What is it? A series of script-style fics, beginning with Endless Summer, most of which will be somewhat-loose adaptations of various Choices books, all set in the same universe (with many more connections compared to canon!)
Wait, “most of which?” Don’t want to spoil too much yet, but the non-adaptation scripts I have planned include a Most Wanted sequel (you’re welcome!) as well as a climactic three-part crossover story. And that’s just Phase 1!
“CIU?” “Phase 1?” This sounds familiar... Yes, this project is very much inspired by the structure of the MCU, though the storylines and characters will be all Choices. But don’t worry! I promise not to kill off half the cast with the snap of a finger...
So Endless Summer and Most Wanted are involved. What else? Again, I don’t want to spoil everything just yet, but the ones that I’ve talked about already are: Endless Summer, Hero, and Most Wanted. Oh, and based on the hints I dropped in the tags of my ES end credits... something involving The Heist: Monaco?
Wait, you put hints in the tags?? Sometimes! You never know...
Are you writing all this by the seat of your pants, or do you have everything planned out already? I have an outline for the path of the entire series (even beyond Phase 1) with which books will be adapted and in what order. I also have a universe timeline, a rough plot outline for the crossover trilogy, character profiles for my OCs (and Choices characters where they diverge significantly from canon), a bare-bones dictionary of the Vaanti conlang I developed, and a whole notebook filled with random worldbuilding details.
TL;DR: I’ve put a lot of thought into making sure the story and the universe stays tight and consistent!

So, what’s next? Most Wanted: The Hollywood Killer is the next script to be released; it takes place during the 204 day time jump at the end of ES Book 1. After that... well, the adaptation of ES Book 2, Endless Winter, will be released at some point, followed immediately by Book 3, titled Endless Future. Anything more you’ll have to wait and find out!
Where can I find all of this? Once Most Wanted comes out, I will create a complete CIU masterlist (kinda pointless right now since there’s already an ES Screenplay masterlist and that’s all that would be on it). Also, I will be tagging anything set in this universe with the tag “CIU project” so you can always search that, or just ask me to add you to the tag list directly!
