D@enerys will be the Joffrey of the audience and will break their hearts in season 8
Do you remember in season 1 and book 1 when Sansa fell madly in love with Joffrey? You have to remember, in the books Joffrey is a very beautiful young man, he looks like a young version of Jaime. He is the heir of the Iron Throne, the future King and he is incredible beautiful. How can Sansa not fall in love with him?
In the beginning, Joffrey is always polite and sweet in front of Sansa, he makes sure to keep his evil behavior under traps so Sansa has no motive to think badly about him. Eventually Joffrey does start to show his true self but at that point Sansa is already in love with him, so, she closes her eyes, pretend to not see it and makes excuses for his behavior. Until the very end, when Joffrey cuts down Eddar Stark head and shows his true self for Sansa, breaking her heart in a million of pieces. That’s what it’s going to happen with D@enerys in season 8. She will finally show to the audience her true self, breaking their hearts in a million of pieces.
The very first scene with D@enerys in season 1 its in the balcony of her room in Pentos its almost angelical. She looks so beautiful and ethereal. This could never be final monster of the story right? In season 1 D@enerys was very sweet and endearing, its impossible to not fall in love with the little princess forced into marriage to a savage by her evil brother. She is kind, fragile and sweet, so sweet.
Then in the following seasons and books she starts to show us a more ruthless and cruel side, but we are already in love with her, so we just close our eyes and try to justify all of her actions and terrible behavior. D@enerys is obsessed with the Iron Throne, in fact she will spend years walking around Essos, invading cities and starting wars in order to have armies to invade Westeros, but when asked about her actions, she always comes up with generous answers. “Oh, she is sacking Astapor to save the Unsulied from the evil masters”, “oh she wants Meereen to revenge the crucified children”, “oh she took the Dotrahki from their homes because she will lead them better than their own khals”. And we believe her, blindly.
In season 2, we had a scene where one of the characters for the first time, actually called D@enerys on her false excuses. In the scene under we have Xaro Xhoan Daxos make fun of D@enerys excuse that she wants the Iron Throne for her khalasar.
Later, she changes her excuse and now says that she wants the Iron Throne so that she can break the wheel, keep in mind she never really explained how this will happen or even what she means with breaking the wheel. In the end, those are just silly excuses. D@enerys wants the Iron Throne because she wants to be queen, that’s it, that’s the reason, but she cant admit it because it will make her the villain of her own story. Invading countries, waging war, killing millions of people just for power is terrible, so she makes up those silly little lies, but in the end they are all lies. And that’s exactly what we will found out in season 8.
D@enerys its going to shock us in season 8, she is going to be cruel, selfish and terrible. She will break the audience heart and show us how silly we were for falling in love with a monster. That’s why they used that line in the episode 6:
.
Jon Snow: **They will all come to see you for what you are.**
.
That’s what its going to happens in season 8, we will finally see it D@enerys for what she really is. She is going to be cruel, violent and destructive and do whatever it takes to get the Iron Throne. D@enerys is not her father, she is her brother Viserys. Even her clothing started to reflect more and more her similarities with her older brother.
.
“I think it’s quite interesting that we finally see [D@aenerys] embracing her brother’s ambition. What does that say? You’re seeing the beginning of something. We’re not at the end yet and I think it’s very important at this moment that we start seeing who she is.” —Michelle Clapton on D@aenerys wardobre for season 7.
.
Yes, what does that means?? Thats the question we need to start making it.
Remember when Sansa Stark fell madly in love with a monster and trusted a beautiful queen blindly when she was warned against it?
They are all Sansas, they just don’t know yet.
EDIT- The end its the fucking cake!!!! Thak you lostlittlesatelites for the inspiration!!!
