End Grain Coffee Bar 3 2nd Ave Pitman NJ 08071
One of the many things I love about living in New Jersey, is the small town atmosphere. I live in a small town called Mantua full of country side and back roads. The most exciting thing to ever happen to it was when the Target and Starbucks were built! The next town over is an even smaller town called Pitman. Its got a main drag called Broadway, filled with little shops, diners and even an old movie house which has been re-opened in the last few years to the locals. There is a lot to love in this small little town, but my favorite part about it sits tucked away on a little side street called second avenue.
Its a little "3rd wave" coffee shop called *EndGrain Coffee Bar* Now when I say little I truly do mean little BUT it proves that wonderful things come in small packages! They have everything from luscious lattes, captivating cappuccinos, heart warming hot chocolate and if your not one for trying new things..they have plain old coffee just the way you like it! The owner wanted to go with a city vibe, and has decorated the entire shop with his own photography work as well as lots of awesome vintage pieces, like the old fashion turntable record player that sets the vibe for your visit, as well as the typewriter that sits in the front window just waiting to be used.
I asked the owner if he ever planned to expand, He told me that he loves what he does and hopes to expand in the future if all goes well. For now he is working on getting a coffee bike, and coffee truck up and running to make the business more mobile. You may have even seen the coffee bike at the craft fair and fourth Friday last weekend! There latest idea? They bottled up there cold coffee brews and hope to start selling that in store as well as on the coffee bike!
All in all it is an absolutely amazing little gem, that you should be sure to check out! There is a little something for everyone!
Till Next Time!
God Bless!
