🥞 PANCAKE - what is their comfort breakfast?

he has a few of those... but let’s just go with the top three. ehehe niko will find virote going straight to these when he has time to enjoy something that isn’t just a quickly whipped together smoothie and prepackaged fruit / cheese tray from the market.

- congee, chinese rice porrige. he likes to throw all sorts of stuff in it... cilantro, chives, scallion, dried shrimp, ginger, orange peel, celery, goji berry... depends on his mood. salted duck egg, edamame, ham hock, celery, kimchi, mushrooms. the possibilities are endless! he makes the biggest bowl of it... and it’s especially good on rainy days. <: )

- gaeng som pla / gaeng leung. a soup that’s potent af  -- like a bowl of orange juice set on fire. in thai, it means sour curry though it covers a much larger range of tastes. the soup is usually made with a liquid fish base combined with curry paste and turmeric, which turns it into a yellowish orange color. commonly cooked with bamboo shoots, green papaya or slices of pineapple!!!

- just a really good fuckin’ charcuterie board. sometimes he don’t wanna slave over the stove in the morning. sometimes he just wanna chill on the roof with some wine first thing in the morning and a buncha nibbles.... fruits galore like strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, orange slices, pineapple, grapes. cheeses like brie, triple cream, goat cheese, havarti, burrata..... prosciutto, salami, ham, cured chorizo, capricola, soppressata, summer sausage, etc for meats. dried fruits like apricots, cherries, figs, pineapple, mango. crackers. chocolate. just throw it all on a big ass tray, head up to the roof, and enjoy...

he also really likes ordering cuban takeout... like ropa vieja with some eggs... some thick bread... yea babey.
